The summer Olympic games are over. But think of Paris as being more on pause as Paralympians, it's sort of like, don't forget that you got a couple of weeks off and then we ride again USA or whatever nation you might be supporting. This will be the fourth Paralympics for Minnesota's Chuck Aoki, he's won three paralympic medals in wheelchair rugby after witnessing stunning performances by Olympians. Chuck feels that the momentum is on their side now for the Paralympics to be bigger than ever before. I've never seen such a large excitement for the Paralympics. Now, the world watched as athletes made history experienced heartbreaks and also triumphs on the world stage in Paris. Those stories are even more powerful during the Paralympics is because what makes everyone there incredible is that they've all gone through something life changing, whether they were born with a condition, whether they have fire disability later in life, they went through something that incredibly difficult, incredibly challenging and while they certainly had their downtime, they at some point said, you know what, I'm gonna, I'm gonna achieve something I'm gonna continue to, to achieve something and, you know, they made their way to the world stage and disability pride. For me is really about to celebrate the incredible community. Chuck has been a long time advocate for people with disabilities and has even testified on the Paralympics in Washington DC. He has seen major changes take place from Paralympians, getting equal pay to Olympians and now to changes in media coverage. Peacock has been committed.
