Walljumps just when you think that you've posted the most complete movement guide video about deadlock on YouTube the developers decide to change movement quite significantly not just with new objects on the map but also with just a new move entirely which is the wall jump yes you can wall jump in deadlock now which is done by going up against the wall and moving away from it you can do it sideways too in all sort of ways and the good part about this is that this does not cause stamina and even though you can only do it once per time that you're Airborne I can imagine that this is going to change the movement landscape quite significantly second up Ziplines the developers have also changed up the map in quite a few ways I already showed you this rope right here these have been placed all around the map uh some of them have simply outright replaced the bounce BS that you used to be able to see here you used to be able to go here and then bounce up and get on top of this building but now we climb on these and uh there's two things to note about these ropes other than you're able to go up and down for one is that you can shoot off of them you cannot do this while you're moving I'm trying to shoot right now and it's not working but when you're stationary you can and two when you jump off of these you actually go significantly further so they've placed these in a few key locations around the map and I'll turn on the map here so that you can see where we're at the first one is on the purple Lane here and of course it would also be placed here on the yellow Lane uh at the exact opposite spot there's one right here that sent you to the Rooftop this also used to be a bounce pad and there's also a little hole right here that you can go through which used to be a dead end the bounce bads on that roof they are still present there it's just the ones that were for verticality that have been replaced by these ropes more Rooftops interestingly though if we look between the orange and the yellow lane or between the blue and the purple Lane on this side of the map so in these areas the developers have not just added more of these ropes they've also made a whole bunch of rooftops more accessible now so this of course this building we were already able to climb upon I think in my movement video I used this specific spot to Showcase you can get on top of this roof through a double jump but of course you would be able to get up here through this uh Camp as well you would climb up here and end up on the roof but now as you can see they've added another one of these ropes to the building right here and we are also able to climb on these buildings which previously uh if we were up here it would slowly kill us because of the antennas they're still on that roof right there but on this roof they are are not present anymore and so this is now part of the playable space it still looks a bit um under development I would say you can you can walk through some of these pipes uh there's some invisible walls here as you can see so this is definitely still a in progress type of thing uh with a floating staircase and whatnot and uh yeah a whole bunch of other things that don't really make a lot of sense yet but you can see where they're going with this there's a total of four more of these ropes placed around here one goes inside of the building with the hard Camp the other two are placed here in this Alleyway not sure if we needed one on each side though but I'm sure that will get ironed out and then there's one right here now these I think are going to be very interesting for rotations it's going to make it a bit more dangerous to push into this Lane now and the same goes for the other side of the map right here where you can just get ganked from a top but yeah now a lot more players are going to be able to play from the rooftops uh and we'll find out how useful that is going to be in the upcoming days I think the other big Teleporter Changes change that the developers have made to the map are the teleporters they are all on the ground level now so one is here and it used to be in a different spot it used to be in that same building where that tier three Camp was and it ends in this area now so same spot but of course it used to be up here which was a bit more difficult to reach and there's just a uh one of those men looking at us now so yeah this is hopefully going to make it a bit easier for players to make use of these in my beginner's guide I mentioned that with a teleporter is being so hidden inside these buildings a lot of players often Overlook them but now especially this one it's been placed de Center between the yellow and orange Lane so I think that this will definitely increase the amount that players will use them and we have some teleporters here now as well on the outer edges of the map so here there's one on the yellow lane and then there's one on the purple Lane if you remember remember if you play it long enough and you might be able to see it back on this map because you have a little indentation on the map right there there used to be teleporters right here and then they removed them without giving us a suitable replacement but now that replacement has finally come and if you'll notice they also changed the teleporter animation it's no longer just deep block animation and it still does that weird thing when you come out of it but yeah one more set of teleporters to look out for as for gameplay uh there's a whole wash list of changes that just we're not going to go over every single item and see what small percentages have changed oh High Velocity me lost 5% bullet velocity oh my God I'm never picking that again no that is not what we're doing but I do want to show you just a couple more things that is going to affect how this game plays out oh and Mid Pillars also yeah you can see that these have been lowered now so players are allowed to be up here uh previously they had these antennas as well that would Electrify them and slowly kill them but now this is allowed so you can just sit up here and uh yeah going to be a pretty powerful spot I'm wondering how that will play out but as of gameplay changes Guardian AP Rewards you'll see here that if I kill this Guardian I have three ability points now if I kill this Guardian a I still have three it still shows the logo that you get the ability points that has not been removed but you don't actually get ability points for them anymore and then as for the Walkers Walker Attack Range they have changed the radius that you need to be in to damage them so they have opted by 2 meters so previously you needed to be all the way up here and now you can just I was right on The Sweet Spot there so yeah it's right there other noteworthy Vases Droprate changes are that the gold vases have now an increased drop rate they increase the drop rate by 6% that you can find these Buffs in here I'm not sure what the original number is someone might have to tell me but um it's more likely that you'll find these bosss now so go hunting for them and with the rooftops included they've also just added a bunch more bases and gold boxes into the map so going up here I'm not sure if this would make it worth to into your rotation but at least if you go on top of these rooftops there is something for you to find Additionally the developers New Jump Pad have also added another bounce pad that can be found on the blue Lane on this side or on the orange Lane on the exact opposite side which then shoot you all the way over here and I'm trying not to get killed by that Walker thank you very much now again there's a whole wash list of items and changes to abilities that uh well you can find in the full patch notes which I'll link down below this this is still a very experimental video it's been a long long time since I did a live commentary so you know give me some feedback on this do you want to see more of this or not but yeah this video is just going to include the big changes so we're going to look at the items now and I'll show you some of the most important things and actually we will do that in the sandbox mode so the first big change Intensifying Magazine is intensifying magazine I never used to pick this up because the way that it would work is that you would as you would shoot your bullets will start to do more damage so now a single bullet would be 11 damage whereas the Baseline would be eight uh and the problem with this was is that even if you let go of the trigger for just a millisecond it would reset all the way back down to zero and if you know how games go uh at the higher level you're never just putting in that much damage unless you got someone caught in like a raate ult or something there's always going to be a small move you do in between your shots which means that you didn't get zero value out of that item but now it's been changed completely and just as you wind up your weapon for more damage it will also wind down you can see it wind up in the bottom left of the screen and then wind down when I'm not shooting so it goes about the same speed and that means that uh now we can actually make use of this weapon we can actually get at the max Stacks reload and then if our reload was fast enough we could continue shooting with still some Stacks available so this item did not really see a lot of use previously but now it might just be one of the stronger items in the game definitely keep an eye out on this one the other big change you might already Headhunter New Item see it here is head Hunter which is basically a new item entirely it builds off of the high velocity mag where it just builds into bullet velocity and the added bonus with this one is is that if you land a head shot you get some move speed you get some health back and you also do more damage for that head shot it is a 6sec cool down so you can only proc it every 6 seconds much like head shot booster which also only procs with head shots and also can only be used every 7 seconds but yeah these two together you can start doing a lot of damage with head shot which of course we would never do because we only shoot at the food in our games the other big big change and Unstoppable we're going to have to play seven for this with an upgraded Al and Majestic leap and Unstoppable um so the big change with unstoppable is that you can now use it while channeling abilities so if I would go up in the air and use my ult previously because I'm channeling would not be able to use Unstoppable because I would not be able to use any items while I'm channeling but now that wasn't a good demonstration at all because my old just ended but now I can pop it at any time and that makes Unstoppable because now it means that if you want your seven ill to go through and then you don't have to pop Unstoppable and then use your old which then allows you to dodge any knockdowns for the first six seconds of your old but not for the remainder now you can use it proactively so if someone uses a knockdown on you you can just wait for it and then use your Unstoppable to counter that very strong stuff I'll actually have a video on crowd control coming out on the channel tomorrow so that's perfect timing it makes Unstoppable one of the best items in the game if it wasn't already the same would be true for example a haze edicated my life the previously if you wanted to make use out of Unstoppable you would have to you know pop Unstoppable and then pop your old but now you can pop your old and then if someone is about to stun you just pop Unstoppable after effect and if I get for example silencer as well you can see the difference silencer gets grayed out I cannot use that ability anymore but Unstoppable it stays available throughout the whole channel so that makes that item quite unique in that sense and this is going to change up the game significantly it is going to make seven even stronger than he already is because now if the seven is good enough you basically cannot stop his ultimate unless you put two knockdowns back to back on him or two interrupts that are more than 6 seconds apart from each other and if you have to wait that long well the chances are that seven is already doing a lot of damage in team fights so crazy change right there do not let it go unnoticed and then the Knockdown last thing I wanted to show off is with the knockdown which um has been buffed in response the the time it takes for the stunt to go off has been changed from 2 seconds which was 3 seconds previously but then the stone duration has been reduced from 25 seconds to 0.9 seconds now that may seem like a very big change but not much has changed because what you would typically use knockdown on are enemies in the sky and the stun on knockdown it doesn't say it in the description but the stunn on knockdown is still passed so long as players are airborne so for example if you put knockdown on me now the time that I'm in theend air the stun is still P so if he were to use this on a seven he would be stunned all the way down until he hits the ground and then when he hits the ground it would be a 0.9 stun time still so yeah something funny as well with this is if you uh take Magic Carpet just as a little bonus the end of the video if uh if you get knocked down on a Magic Carpet you are just stunned for the entire time on the carpet because you are technically not on the ground wanted to include this is a little ending can you put the knock down on me as you can see I am just stunned the whole time that I'm using Magic Carpet and there's no way for me to do anything so yeah very interesting knockdown interaction there don't be discouraged by using it just because the stun duration has been lowered if you want to Outro see the full patch notes and just go into all the small details every single percentage that they've changed on every last item I'll leave a link to it in the description down below and let me know what you think of videos like this where I just look at the most recent patch go over the biggest stuff uh in a sort of low effort video just to have it out fast but yeah that's pretty much going to be it uh thank you for watching this may be the first and the last patch notes overview that I do depending on the reception and I'll be back with a proper video tomorrow so yeah you'll see me soon bye
