we're learning more about the victims of a deadly crash in St Louis Park around 8:00 last night a driver plowed his vehicle into the patio of Park Tavern killing two people and injuring three others wcco's Mariel Moos spoke to the owner of Park Tavern who confirms one of his servers lost her life in last night's Tragedy Christina was just you one of the family and her mother actually worked for us too holding back tears Park Tavern owner Phil Weber describes his employee Christina furz she was killed while working Sunday night when a driver crashed into the patio killing the mother of three this is just you know horrific I mean nobody can even believe this is what happened this was all patio space here and what we're learning about the path this car took it blew right through this area ending on that hill where mangled fencing in Furniture is still remnants of this tragedy it was like a bad I took me a second to shake my head and actually believe what I was hearing a memorial now sits in front of the patio area people came by all day on Monday to leave flowers and hug one another among the flowers is a pair of hospital scrubs Methodist Hospital says one of their employees was also killed in this crash and four of their nurses were injured Park Tavern has had a long-standing relationship with the nearby hospital they've been just amazing customers retirement parties one a week probably one a week a retirement party um and you know what they had to go through during Co was just horrific so we uh you know we become sort of a partner with the hospitals the staff here at Park Tavern call each other family and like family they are leaning on one another more than ever right now but we'll get through and we'll keep doing what we do that's we have no other choice in St Louis Park Marielle Mo WCCO news Park T will remain closed until further notice as its staff processes this loss
