the first episode opens with Prometheus who narrates his plight as a prisoner because he knows too much about Zeus the king of the Gods who resides on Mount Olympus as Zeus Dons his attire and takes his seat on the throne he addresses Olympia proclaiming that today is a holy day dedicated to honoring him Prometheus refers to Zeus as a Transcendent and mitigated bastard and reveals a plan to topple him this scheme hinges on three humans and a prophecy the first of these humans is idisi known as rid who lives in creit oblivious to the role she will play in Zeus's downfall ridy heads to the grocery store where she crosses paths with a blonde woman named Cassandra the news talks of Olympia Day celebrations in Creed and the annual Human Sacrifice rid saves Cassandra from getting caught shoplifting cat food Cassandra cryptically speaks of men hidden inside a horse and warns that today R will leave because her love is De head meanwhile Zeus standing on the edge of a mountain asks his wife Hera if the fountain still looks the same sh reassures him Prometheus interjects explaining that the Mander is a Divine structure and as long as it flows Zeus's rain remains unchallenged Zeus's son dionysis the God of Pleasure Madness and wild frenzy is restless the next morning he confides in a cook that he grown tired of his duties and craves more excitement the cook advises him to talk to his father and reminds him that the most precious gift his own son ever gave him was a watch because time spent together is priceless Prometheus reveals that dionysus's mother was Mortal but Zeus elevated him to full godhood much to her's dismay so much so that she transformed dian's mother into a bee as Zeus watches the unveiling of the monument in Creed he expresses gratitude to Agatha a human willing to sacrifice herself in the name of Olympus dianis offers Zeus a watch but Zeus dismisses it favoring instead the Talisman watch he received from Hercules which he considers a lucky charm dionis seeking more recognition asks Zeus for promotion Hera belittles him calling him a lightweight which leads to a heated exchange Zeus angered by his son's audacity punishes him and demands an apology in a fit of rebellion dionysis seals the Talisman watch and storm off Zeus eagerly anticipating the statues reveal is enraged when it turns out to be nothing more than a pile of excrement with the words F the gods scrolled above it Furious he vows to wipe humans off the face of the Earth but herea ever the voice of reason reminds him that true power lies in delegation and advises him to summon posidon read the spots music posters for a new album titled Muse by the singer orus the posters feature her face it turns out she is married to the singer and learns that his new song is called yurii she bristles at the thought demanding that he love her quietly without dragging her into the public eye Prometheus realizes that R is fallen out of love with orus yet she is too afraid to leave him back on Olympus Zeus is horrified to discover a new wrinkle on his forehead Prometheus chained to the mountain endures the torment of an eagle pecking out his liver Zeus teleports him to Mount Olympus and confides his fears that the prophecy is coming true he reveals that the prophecy States a line appears the order wains the family falls and Chaos Reigns Zeus admits to see an ablp in the Mander Prometheus assures him that he is the king of the Gods invincible and that the prophecy applies only to Mortals Zeus grateful calls him a sweet friend and returns him to his Cliffside prison calling him his only friend in the world but Prometheus knows better he is lying through his teeth the prophecy can come to pass and Zeus can be destroyed if certain people open their eyes Zeus's downfall is inevitable Ry troubled heads to church to unburden her soul she doesn't realize that all confessions are collected by Hera who draws power from them to soothe her absent heart in a Twist R's confession is made to her mother who cut out her own tongue for the gods R admits that she no longer loves orus and feels like she's lost herself becoming nothing more than his wife and Muse she needs to leave him but is held back by the memory of her mother as a child she prayed to Hera to bring her mother back rid seeks advice from her mother who writes a prophecy on paper R scuffs at it claiming she already knows her destiny that the gods don't care about them she declares her Defiance against them as she leaves the church R spots cassendra outside she tries to approach her but Is tragically run over by a bus Cassandra and phased remarks that she told R should' leave him today she leaves everyone today Prometheus then explains that no two prophecies are ever the same revealing that Ry received the same prophecy as Zeus orus is devastated by rid's death at her funeral he offers Hades the Lord of death a charm to ensure her safe Passage through the frame and bless her transition di inesis present at the ceremony realizes he's found his purpose help in orus driven by grief orus is on the brink of killing himself when dianis intervenes but in the chaos orus accidentally shoots him dionis tells orus there is a way to reunite with his wife without dying Prometheus reveals that only humans can receive prophecies and Zeus not always being a God can indeed be destroyed by them Prometheus has waited thousands of years for the right people to be in the right place at the right time now their only chance to fulfill the prophecy has arrived the mener blips and Ry soul is seen on a boat along with other departed Souls sailing toward the frame
