[Music] so I was at the Pit Kent State game through my daughter I am a golden flash Dad okay so we got tickets sitting on the golden flash side great atmosphere Desmond Reed 14 rushes 145 yards in a touchdown plus a punt return for a touchdown kid bowled out brand new quarterback Eli steam thought played very well in the first half I what I look at when you're when when they're playing a team like Kent State where's the ball placement on the receivers did he hit guys in stride and he was doing that for the most part the entire game but especially he started off very well going 30 for 40 for 333 yards and three touchdowns he did have the one interception and I believe today we are sitting here as September 2nd and I believe Nardi named him the starter moving forward so we'll see what he does next week in Cincinnati and my guy like I was saying on the pit preview show My Guy Kenny Johnson seven receptions 105 yards and a touchdown this kid for pit is going to be electric this year if he stays healthy and I'm glad to see that they were featuring him and moving him around just like they were doing with Gavin Bartholomew who's my favorite player coming into this year I hope to God that they utilize him I saw some some little slip screens on him I saw them lining them outside talk about Bartholomew saw that moving him around so I was very glad to see that and same with Kenny Johnson although he was more of an outside guy because of his vertical threat and his athleticism so good to see these Playmakers being moved around and we'll see with Desmond Reed if he's able to continue the success he has with this offense and by the way if you're a pit fan you saw this this offense it's different right they were moving and it was really cool to see in person how they were able to maneuver this was a really good litmus test on how they need to run with this Tempo competition is going to get a lot stiffer now with Cincinnati and West Virginia coming up however I like what I've seen with with with pit but you gotta just gotta be patient they're not going to do that every week all right obviously I know you know they're not going to put up 50 some points a game they may not even get into the 30s here and there just be patient with with with this offense because this type of offense can also blow up in your face if things are not going well so I'm cautiously optim Mystic to watch pit this year with his offense Holstein seems to be the real deal uh Desmond Reed seems to be electric Kenny Johnson and Bartholomew could be a really good onew punch from a receiving perspective for pit so let's see what they do moving forward
