Morgan riddle has written that comments on a now deleted Instagram story were blown out of proportion amid a saga concerning her partner Taylor Fritz's dramatic Wimbledon win. us no one Fritz came from two sets to love down to reach the Wimbledon quarterfinal on Monday battling past fourth seed Alexander Zev to reach a second quarterfinal at the all England Club Zev engaged Fritz in a lengthy conversation at the net following the conclusion of the match connecting with some of the support Fritz was receiving from his player box. his team is extremely respectful I think his coach his physio also his second coach they're extremely respectful said Zev in his postmatch press conference following a 4 to 66 to 74 6 to4 7 to 63 6 to3 loss I think there's some other people that maybe are in the box that are not maybe from the tennis world that are not maybe from particularly watching every single match they were a bit over the top that's okay no issues no drama he fought back from two sets to love so they're obviously all excited very pumped up yeah but no issues with Taylor however the controversy surrounding the dramatic match and the conversation of the net was flamed by Riddle's Instagram story post later in the afternoon the 26-year-old wrote that Fritz's win was a win for the girls something many fans assumed alluded to two previous allegations of domestic abuse made against the world no for which he has repeatedly denied however riddle has now taken to Instagram today to categorically deny this was the case she wrote regarding my stories yesterday I took them down as soon as I realized the misunderstanding and how blown out of proportion they had become by by the media they we not about anything that's happened off the tennis court and there's no bad blood between anyone super proud of te for the match yesterday thank you to the crowd for the support and looking forward to tomorrow
