Keegan after our really low first round is it difficult to try to follow that up yeah I feel better about today's round I didn't play my best the first sort of 12 holes and then I hung in there and then finished up great I'm just wondering with a win conceivable here and then Ryder Cup picks just shortly after the day have you thought about what you know a two-day stretch could look like if you pull pull off yeah I think about it every second uh I'd like to sit here and lie to you and you know lie to you guys say I'm not thinking about it but like sporadically out through the round it'll pop into my head but it's impossible for me not to think about so I'm sort of trying to embrace it playing good golf so but the FedEx Cup's most important right now you've talked about the pressure that you felt over the last month is it difficult when a shot doesn't go your way or you get a bad bounce to not overreact with every shot when you feel like you do have that pressure on your back yeah yeah it is it's tough man it's uh when you get down to the end of the year when you're in this sort of atmosphere this is important to us and every shot's important every round's important so I'm proud of the way I played today what do you most encouraged by or proud of for the first two rounds well I'm really proud of today's run because I didn't play my best I played Greg coming in uh and this is a tough track so I'm proud of that I feel pretty pretty good out there pretty confident pretty calm for me that's pretty good uh and I'm rolling and putting it really well so that's exciting and I know your folks on your own game but when Colin's hitting it the way he is is there any part where you're just like you're impressed as a fellow Tour player watching it yeah I'm always impressed I'm impressed watching Victor play I'm an Express watching column play um I think I'm playing with Scotty tomorrow I'm excited to watch him play uh this younger generation of players is exciting to watch I I love being out there and playing with these guys Keegan do you think anything that happens this one week should or could factor into the rotter cup discussion well like I said yesterday I mean it's a two year long uh qualifying process with the tournament a month away I mean it certainly can't hurt I know that but I uh I'm just trying my best to not think too much about it but I got people with microphones asking me every second and then when I'm I'm walking the fairways people yell it out to me every second so I sort of have to embrace it um but I'm doing a good job so far yeah forgive me for asking another then but I mean if you were making your pitch to Zach or I mean what what would your cell be for yourself to get a spot I mean I feel like I've had a great year one twice I've won at Hartford which had one of the best fields in the world but listen I I I'm not gonna pitch Zach he knows he knows who I am he knows that player and he also knows the type of player all these other guys are that are up for fixed and they're all incredible players and and good guys so you know I'm gonna do my best to play and play Great Golf the next two days and see what happens where is that Ryder Cup bag that you haven't unpacked and why what's that where is the Ryder Cup bag did you have it unpacked and why did you why have you still not done that it's in my garage um I thought for a while I'll never open it again so hopefully I get a chance to to play on this team if I don't I'm gonna be rooting hard there's been in the years past it's been really hard for me to watch the Ryder Cup because I just haven't been in the in the conversation to be on the team but this year if I don't make the team it'll be different I'll I'll watch and I'll be pulling for the guys as if just as if I was playing what do you think it smells like in there not very good said this is the first time playing in this format the last time you were here had The Nine's been switched already I've played it once with the nine switch it's still I still when I look at my book I still when I'm over there I think I'm I go I think about 15 and it's not it's bizarre I was talking to Collins caddy he he told him to meet him on 10 you know on Tuesday and he went to the first hole so you know it's uh it's it's funny I I really like it this way though I think it's better thank you
