the Cubs skipped Kyle Hendricks in the rotation you might have noticed he wasn't scheduled to pitch against the Guardians this week um he is currently available out of the bullpen the Cubs took advantage of the off days that they had um available with one before the white socks series and one after the white socks series so for this series in Cleveland Kyle Hendricks is going to be available out of the bullpen it's going to be Assad tonight and Jameson tyion tomorrow uh what are your thoughts on the professor potentially going back to the pen for a trip through the rotation glad we still have him because I might have released him earlier in the season when he wasn't playing well and the reason I say that is that Kate Horton who you would have thought by now would be the you know one of the pitchers in the rotation Cub's top prospect pitching Prospect yeah he's out for the year right and then and then Ben Brown's out for the year so those are two guys that you would expect that would have been able to contribute to this team they both have injuries
