NRLW 2024 | Titans v Sharks: Round 6 | Match Preview

[Music] welcome to round six of the nrlw I'm Paul joder and joining me as former Origins star Shantel sters to preview all the games this week thanks for being here thanks for having me the Titans host the Sharks to open up the round and for the Gold Coast well they hit back to form the form that we saw in 2023 with a convincing win over the roers at home last week what did you see in this game that we hadn't seen in the weeks prior by the titles I think it was just good execution and completion but they had the desire behind it like there was no way that they were going to lose this game and they went all the way in they were very fired up it was a hot game it was a hot day and yeah what was it aan P did really well as did Lauren Brown their star players really stepping it up but they'll have to do it again right to beat the high flying Crown shots yeah once you kind of hit that point where you are going really well where the Titans are right now you know what it feels like so they'll be able to elevate into their energy when they go into this game so it was almost a really good set up game to come come up against a team like the feels like the game of the round right turning to konal they were very clinical in the local Derby against the dragons that's a bit scary cuz it feels like they were only in second gear and they W comfortable yeah it does you're right it does feel like they're only in second gear they weren't overly challenged they seemed as though they were in control of everything but what they were doing very well is humming an attack yeah every single time they touch the ball they pretty much converted to a try yeah definitely they five from five to start the year so are you putting them as competition favorites now or still you know night Titans are up there eers I think that they competition favorites they've found that second year confidence you know first year you were ironing out Kinks um they went away in the off seon and they worked on their connection and obviously that's worked really well they've come back and they all know their roles they're all doing their job it's a great roster yep all right one game only play between these two previously it was a tight win to the goal Coast so will you go the home side here or take the Sharks continue to win and run even though the sharks are going so well I'm going to pick the Titans it's a home game it's such a tough game I know it is a tough game to pick they do the Titans Elevate in home games and we saw it last week yep and they play in this weather last week which is very very hot so maybe that's the difference last week here we go y all right if you want to see this match live head to nrl.com tickets if you can't get to the game you can still watch it on Channel 9 foxtail Sky New Zealand or KO kickoff is at 11 a.m.
