hey footy fans you're ready for some more footy fun with footy fin now NRL I want to run over uh the amazing stuff that happened over the weekend around 26 look ahead see with one round left who's going to make that vital eighth position and make the finals and how will the top seven Stack Up um look things just got really a lot more interesting basically after round 26 first of all we had had some a number of upsets so the eels beat the dragons 4440 but they nearly threw it all away uh the dragons just point scoring spree in the last 10 12 minutes the W upset the Sharks 30 seconds from the end 30 points to 28 sha Johnson's last ever NL game the Sharks come from 22-4 down John son had a hand in almost every W's try dwz got a hattrick I think but the sharks look to have sewn it up late in the game and then with about 30 seconds left on the clock it goes out to the right out to the backline for the Sharks uh Shawn Johnson throws a looping double cutout pass over to dwz who steps inside the Defenders and scores miraculous victory and um very welld deserved to sha Johnson congratulations on a great career um and then Sunday afternoon the Raiders upset the roosters 14 to 12 roosters have suffered some bad injuries and that one that I'll come to on my tips video If Kiri had an nailed the sideline conversion that would have taken it into golden point but it wasn't to be so the Raiders W 1412 and then Saturday night Fins Up I'm not going to say this was an upset as such but it's the first time in four encounters the fins have ever beaten the Broncos in the Battle of Brisbane not only did they beat them they thrashed them 40 points to six the Broncos had no reply and even given the several injuries that the Broncos had got it was no excuse like that was that was really poor and for for Bona Broncos fans very disappointing uh disappointing season and that has basically knocked them out as I'll um touch on next anyway so lot of action there so the top uh 11 or so I'll run through them storm Panthers roosters sharks Bulldogs Cowboys Manley dolphins on eighth then Knights dragons Raiders and Broncos now this coming uh weekend in the final round uh we've got two top seven clashes the Sharks up against Manley and the Bulldogs up against the Cowboys uh basically the Sharks V Manley could determine who finishes second third fourth or fifth um the Bulldogs fee Cowboys um is what 5 V6 the winner could possibly finish third or fourth and the loser could possibly finish as low as seventh the Panthers V the Titans and the roosters V the rabbit OES massive rivalry in the latter game there those matches could also determine who finishes second third fourth or fifth Manley could finish in fifth sixth or seventh but in other mouthwatering matchups you almost couldn't script it better the Dolphins in eighth Play the knights in ninth and then the dragons in 10th play the Raiders in 11th so both of these really are playoffs for that vital final final spot I.E eighth spot the Broncos are on 26 points whereas the four teams above them are on 28 so from the Dolphins and the Knights at least one team takes away at least one point likewise for the dragons and Raiders so the Broncos cannot make the finals they um they lost that chance when they got smashed by the Dolphins the other night the dragons and the Raiders are still in with a chance but by virtue of the Dragons choking against the eels um the thing is here is points difference both of these two clubs are on negative 120 odd points in the points difference uh so what they would need is they'd need uh the fins and the Knights to draw then they'd need to win but basically as far as I can see they need to win by about 90 points or more so it's virtually impossible okay so I'm basically scratching them you heard it here first dragons and dragons and Raiders scratched the Dolphins and the Knights this is a playoff winner takes all for the eighth spot yeah uh dolphins are on positive 7 now points difference after that thrashing of the Broncos the knights are still on -48 um so if they was if it was a draw the Dolphins would go through other than that basically Winner Takes all winner uh will play finals it's as simple as that look cut out all the mathematical chances and all that crap that's what it comes down to so Fin's up come on Lads I believe we've got um KUSI might be an injury dep I believe we've got Captain Jesse bromich back Cody nicara back and available um other than that I think the rest of the squad that took on the bronos are available Wayne Bennett has also coached at the knights in the past let's not forget that the great man knows what he's doing surely surely this is the time when the Dolphins can make the finals for the first time ever anyway look out for my tips video in a couple of nights Fins Up very exciting times until next time catch out around the left Edge see you
