on a sparkling morning beneath the Australian flag at the peak of Milburn's biggest bridge drivers watched as a wide four-wheel drive stopped traffic he's got out of the car taken this young girl and dropped her over the side of the bridge 58 meters down 17 stories a four-year-old her name was Darcy water police responded to frantic calls to triple ohh they pulled her from the water paramedics worked on her for 50 minutes still trying to resuscitate her as she was rushed to hospital one of the cases that paramedics go to Darcy died this afternoon she had massive internal injuries police say her father Arthur Freeman had simply returned to his car and driven off with his two sons in the back two year old Jack and Benjamin 7 you know I just shuddered when I heard about it I think every Victorian we just you just shut it you just think how can that happen Freeman's car was found in the city after about 90 minutes he was arrested nearby police say he was distressed but many others are as well you think you've seen it all but you haven't particularly distressing obviously for family members but for the the witnesses who saw what occurred a number of those people are upset and I've got a number of police here who have young children themselves Arthur Freeman has been charged with murder Darcy's mother and brothers are being counseled Robert Avaya Seven News you
