Every now and then, celebration four years in the making today, ExxonMobil brought the community together to mark the official startup of the blade expansion at its downtown refinery. This new unit is the largest refinery expansion anywhere in the US in the past decade, and ExxonMobil hopes
it will supply the energy that America needs. You know, we toured the expansion several weeks ago. The Blade project will help the refinery process crude
from West, TX, turning it into diesel and gaso. ExxonMobil says the project. Also put $500 million back
into the Southeast Texas economy in terms of new j, Congressman Randy Weber was there for today's celebration. He tells us that crude expansios necessary to avoid another
1973 oil crisis. He also told us he has invited President Joe Biden
to see the benefit of our local refineries for him. I wish President Biden, I would invite him to
come to our area, see what we're doing, see that salt of the earth
we talked about. I think he would find
out first hand. This is the place to be. This is what it's all about. It's about Texans. More than that, it's
