few 100 yards offshore and the waves come right in here in Coney we are kind of sheltered by Jamaica Bay and the rockaways but we we we get big waves here too Sally skipo welcome hope you're doing the boardwalk with all the sand so the sand has nowhere to go if it blows up onto the boardwalk because of the wind get those people to go with you you got to do a little bit of DJing jamming right unfortunately were we in the wind last Friday was at it right was that what we wi the win right was last Friday bloody hell 8:40 about an hour we'll have our fireworks you looked up some videos of the parachute jump it was an intense ride yeah it was an intense storm I mean intense ride you you've dropped down some 250 ft and the parachute was the only limiter you kind of were guided down by a wire but for the most part the parachute if the wind came off the water a little bit too strong the parachute wouldn't fully inflate and you'll kind of bounce when you get to the bottom and a lot of people bounced also sometimes if the the um if the seat that the people were in kind of drifted to far off the platform they would have to use a hook to bring them over onto the platform in 2010 the roller coaster company intiman did a survey can we turn this back into a ride a modern ride with modern safety conveyances and unfortunately it was deemed too expensive to turn into a modern ride SLE Chase
