I'm only talking about this because I'm a Star Wars fan and well that's what I do I give you my Star Wars takes and I typically try to be a pretty positive person in the community but I had to just speak out about some of this stuff that's going on some people will say that the fan base in Star Wars is toxic but what I say is it's fans that care when you care about something you will be critical of things that don't go well and that's what happened with Star Wars acolyte fans have been critical since probably the book of Boba Fett Andor even though Andor was a great TV show Ahsoka Obi-Wan and now you have the Acolyte and I think it's just a combination of all of this coming together where fans are finally sick of it and they're speaking out no longer are we sitting quietly in the corner and thinking oh well maybe it'll get better no when you love something you critique it and you speak out you want it to be good because we need Star Wars to be good because we want good Star Wars shows so this recently was tweeted out and there was a video and I'm not going to get into too much of the video but it reads here of course I live in a bubble of my own reality but for those who aren't aware there has been rampant vital that we have faced since the show has even been announced well you can go on and read the rest of the Tweet I'll put it in the description but I'm not going to go through everything that she says here my take this is narcissistic this is gaslighting and it all checks out with the way that Disney has always gone about their PR when something is terrible and canceled when a show fails because of bad riding because of bad acting no one shows up to watch it but whose fault is it it's our fault it's our fault but that's not what the numbers show the numbers show that the Mandalorian did quite well that Ahsoka did okay the Andor did okay and other shows even though there has been a decline in every show since the Mandalorian the acolyte takes the cake with just how bad it was it's not the fans no it falls squarely on the shoulders of Disney leadership at some point Disney has to look at their in the mirror and realize they're the biggest problem they're the problem so this doesn't surprise me when you have actors and people who live in bubbles and think well something wasn't successful I'm just going to blame the fans it's their fault for not enjoying what I created when in reality no one enjoys what was created because it sucks Star Wars really needs to get back to the original storytelling what made them great get away from this tent pole storytelling tell the story about a greater good and a greater evil that there's right and there's wrong Jedi being the warrior monks of peace and Justice that they are Sith being those who are self-absorbed and seeking only for self-preservation and to exalt their themselves but hey we're the problem right no this is a classic case of narcissism and gaslighting the fan base so this seems to check out I really hope Star Wars can turn it around because I want some good Star Wars shows but they have to stop blaming their fans make sure to like And subscribe or we will Execute Order 66 check out our other videos on the screen as well yes my Lord [Music]
