[Music] back [Music] okay welcome back to another episode of third and 23 I'm your host Alex and I'm here to talk LSU versus USC so if you guys watch previous video I told you I was going to have a solo video just for this game on Sunday night at Alle Legion Stadium uh in Vegas it's where it's where the Raiders play uh just real quick I'm two- two now on the season at 1- two Saturday H not the greatest CU I had two bad whiffs you know I guess I had some reservation and reluctance on Brent pry in Virginia Tech I I didn't think Brent pry was that guy but I believed in Virginia Tech maybe I shouldn't have they had an embarrassing loss today to Vanderbilt of all teams and then I really whiffed on the West Virginia Penn State game Penn State I give the drw r he looked good the running back still not so much to me but drw R looked good he was out there dotting so hey it's opening opening day you kind of got to take it for what it is that said let's talk LSU USC so if the last time you saw USC you saw Miller moss in the holiday bowling against Louisville I think he threw six touchdowns I think he said a bowl game a Holiday Bowl game record for touchdown passes he's going to be the starting quarterback he's taking over Caleb Williams but see USC lost Caleb Williams The Lost receivers lost a lot of guys lost a running back they lost a lot of guys this is this USC as far as as far as offensive skill players go this is not the same USC that c Caleb Willams was playing with that's not who Miller Moss has to to throw the ball to or hand the ball off to so when I compare that with LSU LSU is going with uh with nus at at quarterback he was the backup quarterback for Jaden Daniels last year so we got two QBs taking over for some I guess you could say college legendary players and Caleb Williams and Jaden d Dani guys went one and two in the draft NM got a little experience last year but I think he's got a lot better players around him offensively than uh Miller Moss does at USC especially starting with Kyon Lacy at receiver I think he's an NFL wide receiver in the mold of a Malik neighbors Brian Thomas he just didn't get that shine last year because of those guys and I mean how can you you know you got those guys in there you got to get them the Rock first so he stayed in school to be the number one I think you're going to see him shine in this game new defensive coordinator for LSU remember LSU had a really bad defense last year they went out and hired a new DC Blake Baker coming from Missouri he's got a bunch of guys that have a lot of experience we don't know so much as far as talent but a bunch of guys that got got a lot of experience and I think he's going to make a pretty positive impact he he was great at Missouri Missouri's had a really good defense for some years now so I think he's going to he brings that schematic in that schematically and brings that toughness that LSU defense now the spread the spread started out at six LSU was favored by six as it's dropped to four why is it Dro two whole points I don't know a lot of money pouring in on USC I guess uh but that's what made this a bet for me because I had LSU always winning this game and I didn't I wasn't really good I was never going to do this game at six I just didn't like it at four I'm GNA do it so we're going to take LSU and we're going to lay the four in Vegas they're the more talented team they have what I think it's going to be a defense that's going to make a huge leap forward a big bounce back and against a USC offense that's got to replace just so much there's so much talent they have to replace offensively and I didn't even speak about the USC defense which was just as bad as the LSU defense was last year and I don't know if they're making the same leap that the LSU defense is so give me LSU and I'm laying the four let's see if we can get back to over 500 on our ATS plays but anyways that's it uh if you like the content please like follow subscribe as you can see my YouTube panel here in a few seconds take care [Music] [Music]
