and I'm going to talk about my third different NFC East team here I'm going to the Dallas Cowboys backfield I'm going to go with Rico D who's ADP 143 overall RB 45 I mean this price point feels like an absolute joke to me in in the 12th round I mean like come on what are we talking about here but you know if I I just I guess I just have to chalk that up to people just kind of not really being aware who D is even though he's not a rookie he's been in the league for four years but you know in any event I think people are just kind of seeing Zeke Elliott coming back to Dallas and you know fantasy managers you know they the high-profile guys they stick out in their memory I mean people have fond memories of Zeke in the past and what he used to be but it's not 2018 anymore folks okay Zeke's not taking on 350 Touches at this stage of his career so this is going to be a committee I fully acknowledge that but I see Rico stepping into the Tony PA role from 2022 not 2023 not last season where he had all the expectations in the world to handle this massive workload and he couldn't hang he couldn't live up to it and he was but 2020 to back when he was incredibly efficient back when he was averaging five and a half yards per carry and I don't know if D necessarily has that in his repertoire to be that efficient I'm not sure but I don't think he needs to be I mean he's in he's in an offense that was number one in the league in scoring in 2023 and PFF has their offensive line ranked 10th so they're in the top third of the league so I think I just think there's enough around Rico datle where he could be one of those guys that you can grab in round 12 and he's going to get 12 to 14 touches every every single week because I don't want want to put a massive workload on a Zeke Elliott and who knows if Dallas's offense if they if they stay high flying and their defense is pretty good too I mean you know maybe they're running they're closing out games they're doing it with both Zeke and d and maybe those some of those touch totals go up a little bit maybe it's more than 12 14 touches in some weeks so and it's another guy like kind of like Palmer where you're getting him so late where it if it doesn't work out it doesn't hurt you at all but this is the lottery ticket that I want to buy especially at the running back position where if someone gets hurt like if this is the year that Zeke with a with a million carries on his frame breaks down maybe more that work L ships the dle so I want to take I want to buy those scratch tickets and this is what I'm buying in Dallas in yeah I like the call with dle um I think just strategy wise as you T um mention it just with a scratch ticket like I like going um with running backs that you know teams don't have a clear uh rb1 or you know by a committee because he as Ethan said in the past too you know upside wins you championships right so I think if you do find uh some of those backs in the later rounds that have a lot of volume whether it's a community or not I think it's still a good pick um no matter what I mean you look at Kiren Williams and you know there the list goes on from uh uh running backs that you know preseason people fantasy managers weren't really in on and then hey if you just take a shot on them they they work out for it so I I like that call at that price point I don't think you can go wrong with Rico dle as you said kamish that that offense has been pumping out running back production year after a year and the competition for touches isn't High there Zeke Elliott I think he's on his last leg so I think it's wheels up for Rico D he's getting a lot of uh hype in Camp uh a lot of people are saying he will be he will lead the the Dallas Cowboys in rushing this year and the Dallas Cowboys are going to have a very uh good offense they're us tops in the league so if I can get a running back and an efficient offense that late s
