well well well look who we have at the top of the leaderboard the world number one Nelly Corda so with two rounds down here at the home of golf it's time we run it back I'm hope Barnett and you're watching LPGA now presented by Surf Pro let's get into it a Flawless day for the two-time major Champion which you could probably guess is very rare at the old course so rare that there's only been two Flawless rounds all week check out these backtack birdies she had on 17 and 18 earlier this week Nelly decided to put a new putter in her bag and I'd say it's paying off I just needed something different to look at sometimes you just need to switch it up and um it's been working really well and it's rolling off the face really really well it's my first time ever putting a tailor made putter in play as a pro I used to have one when I was in junior golf but you know I've won so many times this year with the putter that I had and I just wanted to kind of look at something she's won in just about every element this year but this would be her first tour win on a Link's course so with Nelly leading by three her playing Partners the first two rounds Lil AV Vu and Charlie Hull sit at 5 under and let's not forget that it did come down to Charlie and Lilia in 2023 at Walton Heath it's a lot different to last year as it's a completely different golf course so you just got to kind of grind it out out there cuz you can have a 100t putt and it's a good two putt you know what I mean so um sometimes it's hard to hit it close out there because there's so many mounds and and everything Lilia is trying to defend her title with some steady play out in these conditions with a near hole in one for the American oh wow we have quite the leaderboard heading into the third round with the likes of roning Yin and solo fourth and the 2022 AIG Women's Open Champion tied for fifth alongside the the new LPGA Hall of Famer Lydia Co and so many others that are most definitely not out of it so with the wind gusting Katrina Matthew taking her last stroll and the bunkers doing British Open things get ready for an exciting Saturday so with moving day on Deck be sure to tune in on USA peacock and NBC and come back right here to watch LPGA now presented by Surf Pro
