what is going on ever is back again with another VI in today's video we're going to be talking about the Los Angeles Dodgers because now that they' signed Otani this team is looking pretty solid but I do think there's still a couple things wrong with the squad moving forward the main thing is the pitching I have no idea what's going on with that pitching staff you know it's not really the best obviously Joe Kelly did come back which is good he's pretty solid pitcher but for that starting rotation it's not looking good Dustin may I don't know when he's coming back to be honest he's still signed with the team for a couple more years but as soon as you got that Tommy John we did not really hear anything about him so I don't know if he's even coming back this year I don't know what's going on with that situation then they obviously still have Walker berer there as well really solid pitcher overall I mean and plus they don't even have Clayton kers anymore he's out till June I think and they didn't even sign him yet so I don't know if they're going to sign him in May or June or whenever he's coming back or he wants to play again I'm not really sure we haven't heard much about clay kersha at all this year and they're also paying a lot of money for this team we already know this 2024 year is going to be a ton of money already put into the squad and they haven't even gone through arbitration yet either which is going to be insane so we didn't even I even know what's going on with this pitching roster and the staff cuz you know that's the reason they lost in the playoffs to the Diamondbacks they could not pitch and they definitely paid for it you know they they they could not Pitch they only put up I think six runs in three games and they put up the Dbacks put up like 30 or something like that was absolutely insane so the Dodgers they're going to have to figure out who they want I think Yamamoto they met met with we'll see if they pick up him but who knows how much money he's going to be on this roster yes they do have a lot of guys in arbitration right now so it's a little like gray area right now for what we know but right now without this Otani deal they've already put 100 $13 million into this squad without even looking at arbitration if you include that arbitration it's probably going to be around 150 mil and then you add the Otani de on there which who knows how much he's making this year I don't think he's going to make the 70 mil exactly I think he's making something lower than that so they can pay him out through you know all the years so that the Dodgers can actually be competitive and win all right so this is a pretty crazy tweet Jeet passengers tweeted out sh Otani $700 million contract calls for him to be paid $2 million a year for the next 10 seasons with $680 million deferred to the end of the deal so this is pretty crazy because if he gets paid 2 mil this team could get so many more players Yamamoto can sign here and get whatever deal he wants I mean that's up to the Dodgers if they really want to put $680 million deferred which I it's just kind of crazy even think about that this is even possible it's l like cheating the system it's absolutely insane if this actually does happen though the Dodgers will be very competitive this season and they can definitely sign some pitches so we'll see if this actually goes through I just wanted to mention this as I was editing this video pretty crazy right now so if this does happen Dogers can definitely go out and sign some good pictures and they would probably put themselves in a World Series position and even that you still don't really have really good guys in their Bullpen either there's really not a lot of players they have I mean if we kind of go through everyone right now I mean they still have Blake Trident for this year and then he's a fridge next year he might be done after that after this season you still have Tony Goslin still here you still have Ryan yor here you still have gradal here as well in that Bullpen you still have a guy like Evan Phillips in that Bullpen as well and obv I I said Joe Kelly's going to be there they just made room on the 40 man roster for him to come back with a recent trade with the Yankees actually they picked up a pretty good short stop as well so that's actually a pretty good move for them across the board yeah my main question is do you see the Dodgers in the World Series I think that's the main question everyone's going to be asking themselves this season is really do we think this team will be in the World Series cuz it's definitely the question that we're going to be asking I me it's definitely the question I'm going to be asking concerning this is their year I feel like this is their year they got a Time they got a lot of guys in here I feel like they could definitely make something happen especially after this year they do have a couple free agents up but I think these guys will retire like after this year hayward's up Blake Trident up a big one they got to resign is Walker berer and Ryan yard are going to be up so those a couple of guys they're going to have to resign off those contracts but it's going to be interesting year for them for sure across the board and I'm excited to see if this team's really going to really going to shine CU they're obviously going to do good in the postseason I expect this team to win the division first overall seed second overall seed something like that they're going to buy the first round again my main question is do they get past another team like the Diamondbacks or another team in general where they just get swept in three games and then your season's done that's the big question for me and that's what I'm forward or we're have to look forward to answering as the season goes on cuz let's be honest I I'd like to think as soon as that regular season's over it's a different ball game 100% it's a different ball game the regular season stats don't matter it doesn't matter how many home runs you hit in that regular season it's a different game I mean we look at the teams that just got there you know they regular season stats didn't matter they they fought hard in their series and they were able to get the job done on good hitting and good pitching and it was a team effort it wasn't one guy doing it all so that's what we got to see how the Dodgers are going to look this year they obviously start against the Padre's in Soul South Korea so that's going to be an interesting series across the board but do they have what it takes to be a World Series Squad I think right now it's definitely interesting I think if they sign one or two more pitchers I could probably see it right now but like in this current state it's kind of hard cuz you know they're paying so much money for a lot of their players so it's going to be hard for them to get players especially they're going to go way over that way over that luxury tax so it's going to be an interesting season coming up for the Dodgers I mean what do you guys think about this in the comment section below let me know do you guys think the Dodgers are a
