you guys you know had the tough walk-off loss last night the bad news about Zack eim is this kind of how you always expect this team to respond to adversity yeah I mean uh we all have that next up mentality and whatever happened yesterday doesn't really matter um and we move forward from there you've had you know you've had so many you know injuries to your to your fellow starters how difficult I mean how difficult is that I it's it's not easy um it's hard to replace the guys that that we've uh that we have um but somebody's got to do it the world keeps spinning you know um so just every every guy who comes up here knows that they have a job to do and try to do the best they can you've kind of stepped up here these last two starts they been some of your best starts to the season did you feel any pressure or any need to kind of perform your best in these T not really I'm just trying to put in a good start after a good start whether it goes my way or not it's the goal what did you like about the way you pitched tonight what worked especially well uh I was I was competitive with my uh Sinker and splitter today and uh that kind of got me through and then uh Manan back there um both of us kind of are similar head space so uh makes it easy for us easier for us obviously you never want to get hurt but the fact that you haven't thrown a ton of innings this season does that give you confidence that as you kind of go to the stretch front here you can continue to pitch some of your best baseball Heroes down the stretch uh I mean yeah interesting question um I I don't think that the mileage would uh would really deter me from from trying to put up good numbers or or start after start um but I I'm sure that the higher ups taking take it into account but uh you know just trying to do my job asking the obious too nice to pitch with some quick any offense behind you right yeah definitely um it kind of gives you uh ease of mind uh so to speak but uh yeah I love watching our offense hit the ball around the yard
