Giants vs. Marlins 08/31/24: The Giants lost a one-run game to the non-contending Marlins

hello Giants fans welcome to Giants baseball 101 I'm Gabe vongh your host the Giants lost to the Marlins 4 to three today so it was a game that they lost by one run Mason black started and he allowed two runs but it was something the Giants weren't able to recover from even though Michael conforto hit a bomb in the late Innings of the game that they're now they're one game below 500 and I I I think even though I don't like to say this it is really becoming more and more obvious that their chances of getting into a playoff spot are Slimmer and I I do think we need to remember that nothing's impossible we've still got the whole month of September but the Giants they've shown flashes of greatness all year but I mean their failure to consistently win ball games has it's been persistent something that they were never really able to eliminate and and now we're directly facing the end of the season in this Marlins team too it's it not a team that you want to lose to their losses are in the 80s they've won only 50 games definitely not a team you'd want to lose to so I I think things are looking not great for the Giants right now and Anything Could Happen they do have the month of September but it it really can't look anything like the trajectory that they've been on for the entire year even with the extra wild card spot it's it's going to be a a really tough battle thank you for watching this has been Giants baseball 101 Please Subscribe if you haven't also please leave your questions and comments you know where to do it I'll see you next time on Giants baseball 101
