Hey, big night tonight for our sports department. The 10 people, right in our sports department won 10 Emmys tonight. Well, more than 10 people won a total of 10 Sports Emmys tonight. That's great. Yes. So tonight was the big in the fall. It's, it's news and weather and in the summer it's, uh, it's the sports department. I say all the time, our sports department is just the absolute best, so, so excited and so proud of them. You won one of those? Yeah. Can you believe it y'all? I mean, this is, I won my first Emmy tonight and it just happens to be a sports Emmy because of our Rangers parade coverage after the Texas Rangers won the World Series. So this is real special because I, I won this with our great team of brilliant sports people and news people. The brainchild behind our, our parade was our wonderful assistant news director, Sheena Smith. So, um, and then this is Midas Emmy. He is our graphics designer. He did all the graphics for the Rangers parade. I can go on and on other peoples. Where's yours? You're going home with mine. Never had one. It's just, she just broke the meals for a meal. Ail is like 22 years old. He just wins his first one. He, he's given it to his parents and Cynthia just broke it. Oh, gosh. Well, congratulations. Yeah, that's, that's very good. I agree with you. The first one is probably the most, the most special one. It absolutely is. There, there is no doubt. The others are paperweights, but the first one is, it truly is. It's a heck of an accomplishment. I'm happy for you and for all the sports folks that won tonight. Sydney Trahan, Joe. T, where is he tonight? Probably celebrating the Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Having a bourbon. Let me show you this. Ok. I've got rain in my forecast through Labor Day and I mentioned it's increasing coverage. So I thought what a better way to show you how it goes up. It increases as we head into the weekend than to show you a media gram. Uh, yesterday, today, about 10% of us had a little bit of rain, same deal, Wednesday and Thursday. So tomorrow and Thursday, same coverage. Uh Friday. It's really during the afternoon, then Friday, then Saturday, Sunday and Monday 40 to 50% coverage as we had. So I don't have widespread soaking rain. But if you're one of those locations that gets a nice, you know, it's a little thunderstorm on top of you, you certainly could have some, some issues there across, uh, wherever you are. So I'm not saying to cancel your plans right now, I'm telling you do not cancel your plans. But what I am telling you is make sure you have a little, a little backup plan. Ok. All right. Let me show you this how much rain will we pick up again? Not everyone's going to see it, half of you will, but if you do pick it up, it could be a quarter to a half an inch. And that is, I mean, that's kind of an accumulation in total over the next handful of days that go through uh that go through Monday on Labor Day, we had a few clouds around. There's that 10% coverage and so we had a couple little spotty showers. Uh Chris went home on his dinner break and said, Point Pete, we had a good little downpour east of Dallas. So there we are, but it all fizzled out once the sunset. There's midnight tonight. So mostly clear skies as we head through the overnight tonight, seven o'clock tomorrow morning, watch this nothing happening into the afternoon. See how things just bubble up as we head in the afternoon. 789 o'clock tomorrow night, things start to fizzle out and then we'll do it all again as we head through the day on Thursday. Same exact deal on Thursday. So here we go, watch this and here comes a cold front, rain coverage goes up as this cold front starts to approach. There's seven in the morning Friday that front moves in on Friday. There's that 40% coverage now, it's not a strong front. It's not a front that's going to bring with it. You know, a big cool down AAA significant, cool down, a little bit cooler weather, mainly due to the clouds and the rain around as we head through the weekend front, just kind of sags or oozes through the area. There it is on Sunday. And again, this map makes, it looks like the rain on Labor Day itself is just 100% coverage. But again, that's not the case. It's just, uh, it's not one of our high resolution models this far out. Uh, it's showing, it's kind of like the old fashioned analog TV. It's just showing you that we'd certainly have that rain coverage in our forecast temperatures the next days above normal Wednesday and Thursday, then the clouds start to roll in. So does a little bit of rain and they go below normal Saturday, Sunday and Monday, my forecast tonight has all that and it mostly clear. Muggy. 78 is the low tonight during the day. Tomorrow, partly sunny, a hot day, a humid day, 10% of us see rain tomorrow, 97 tomorrow, 96 Thursday. Then the, the scattered rain moves in Friday. A little more scattered on Saturday. A little bit more widespread on Sunday. I keep a little bit of rain in the forecast on Tuesday. So that's the first seven of the 14 days. Temperatures are nice, really, really nice. Those first seven, look at the final seven of the 14 days. They're even better. Upper eighties to lower nineties are in the forecast. September 4th. That's a huge national holiday. My birthday and on September 10th, uh, through those days, uh, we're looking at temperatures pretty reasonable weather cast. The Emmys had a baby. I, I didn't want Izzy to feel lonely, so I just figured I'd, uh, I'd join the fun. Did you win one too? Same, same broadcast. All part of the same. Great, um, coolest thing about that also on the Emmy submissions, one of our absolute favorites here at Channel A Jerry Cadigan. That is the coolest part about this collective Emmy.
