you know Mir before we talk about the movie I've always been fascinated with the whole Oscar uh the protocol with that now when you win an Oscar how do you get it engraved and when you travel you know mine is not engraved yet like we were supposed to send or no they have a plaque because they don't know in advance who who has won it's in the envelope and so you're supposed to they they send you the plaque and then you're supposed to have it attached and somehow I now have the plaque and I have the Oscar and it's not attached to the Oscar it's like a random Oscar without a plaque you know a little super glue might saw that 5-second nail glue perhaps now interesting jobs you had before you were a an actress showroom model what exactly did you do um that meant that it was actually um a fashion showroom where different clothing distributors would sell their lines to Boutique owners like people would come from around the country to the javet center in New York and you would stand in your little booth working for one clothing manufacturer wearing their clothes and you change your outfit several times a day but you were also a salesperson your basic job was to try and convince people that this particular dress was a very hot seller and that your clients will love them and we've had so many orders for this one and this one looks especially well on the larger sizes and all these things and so you're like a salesperson but you're wearing like an evening dress it's it's it's strange now how how good were you at that um I don't know I I think I was all right at it I'm not that good at selling things I don't like to you know if something isn't good then I can't push its merits if I did like something I could speak enthusiastically about it now got a question I'm doing a sidebar story on becoming famous now you you have a dad who's a well-known actor I'm just curious as your Fame grows how good are you at at reading people because I imagine a lot of people probably come up to you because you're famous want something from you have you developed a sick sense at being able to read people who just want something I think I've always had that because I grew up watching those people with my dad so I have my true friends and uh I've had them for a long time and you know once in a while meet another person who belongs in that group but I'm not that susceptible to to sick of fantry well turning to this movie uh very sensuous scenes of the massage scenes but I'm just wondering was Val getting a little uh did he feel like he was getting like the short end of the stick after a while after a couple of hours of T I was getting all the massages and he wasn't well he got a lot of massages as training for the movie he was getting massaged like every day on the set so to I guess feel what felt good but so I don't I don't think he suffered in terms of not getting massaged I think he ended up being massaged a lot more in that film than I did and quick last question uh you've shot movies in different locations all the scenes in Times Square in New York City uh when you're with Val Kilmer you're famous he's famous on the streets of New York what kind of commotion are you causing uh when you're on location I remember one day where the New York Paparazzi were particularly obtrusive to the scene they were about just 10t away from us and they wouldn't stop taking flash photographs like during all the rehearsals they were just you know right off to our left and it was kind of hard to work under that pressure because they we can't legally order them off the sidewalk because it's public property so they're right there they're talking they're come on Val come on mirror just give us a look come on like that and you're like making a movie and it's hard but
