though the nerves for your first UFC title it's the most overwhelming thing you've ever felt in your entire life you are sitting in the back waiting for that moment where you get an opportunity to go chase something greater than yourself so many people have played a part to get this man to the spot how does he deliver how does he not let anyone down how does he ultimately become the champion of the world this is a big spot for him he is so excited to try and become the man well self-belief is a powerful thing he has long thought that he is the best heavyweight in the world tonight he gets a chance to prove all right here he is the Undisputed baddest man on the planet the UFC heavyweight champion and man to does he have all the confidence and the self-belief that comes with that distinction yeah when you're the baddest man on the planet you are confident you have to be a bit arrogant a bit cocky that's what this guy has he has been here on so many different occasions this is like another night in the office but you can never tell by the way that he prepares you watch him prepare he treats every one of these defensive as if it's the first time he's fighting for a UFC Championship no you put that well he has had that intensity about him this week trying to occupy some head space in the Challenger huge heavyweight title fight is upon us on that Herb Dean Third Man in The Octagon tonight all right so here we go from Team over aren in Las Vegas Nevada and wherever we are in the most fighters on this roster to a man woman they want the chance at some point to make this walk here in Vegas you absolutely want a fight in Las Vegas before it was the MGM Grand it was the Mandalay Bay now it is the T-Mobile Arena the most beautiful arena in the world in the home to the biggest UFC fights right now from International fight week to championship fights all across the board become come to T-Mobile Sid kick well done oh crippling knee to the body bone on bone as the head kick lands flush he better get those hands up or he's going to put him to sleep oh inside kick there's that head kick oh yet again back to the big kick in at land unable to connect [Applause] it what a beautiful body [Applause] kick straight right is [Applause] there just misses there with the left [Applause] big bodyke [Applause] land tried to go to the body but unable to connect three minutes to go here round one slips the shot turn around champ look at that redness underneath his elbow a a lot of those strikes to the body starting to pile up getting beat up and being smart enough to not be head hunting the entire time I like this I like this approach out of range with that one so he lands a double jab there he continues to work off of that weapon and you felt like that was a big key for him coming in tonight very important for him to start popping that Jab over and over again and he's finding a ton of success back and forth we go lands a nasty body kick another big body l oh a huge block there two minutes to go in round one [Applause] looking to land the leg kick now at it nice punch lands over the top all right so some definite damage underneath the elbow now on the side of his opponent lot of strikes to the body starting to starting to add up yeah a lot of strikes to the body and mixing up the attack not being onedimensional not head hunting inside the Octagon I I think he has fought beautifully right now and it's starting to show itself oh nice punch there in the PCH just out of range with that strike oh punches and bunches as he lands another combination there really doing a nice job stringing his shots he's doing a great job of stringing the shots together and also just mixing up the Target and the attacks great job finding different places for his strikes to land that's a great kick landed there beautiful jab there by the champ nice nicely done well DC head gear is not allowed but he has raised the hands and he's doing a nice job protecting the D he's doing a great job of blocking his head a lot of times those shots to the Head will knock you out not this time this guy's making sure nothing lands 20 seconds now remain in the [Applause] round final seconds here of round one second round straight ahead stop [Applause] with [Applause] those all right that horn signifies the end of the round let's take us through some replays champ and the replays are going to be kicks that's the story of this fight to this point he is landing these kicks at will just driving his shin into his opponent's legs and it's really starting to slow him down ready to fight ready here we are early round two all right here we go with our next round his opponent is going to need some moin later tonight how about all those strikes to the head he absorbed in the previous round he is not moving his head he's trying to walk forward he's a pressure fighter sure but he's trying to walk forward with no head movement and he is paying the price for it but by getting hit over and over in the face oh he lands another strike to the body really starting to connect on a lot of shots to the midsection and these will take their toll as this fight goes into the ladder rounds fighter lands a kick to the Head now beautiful kick lands [Applause] there ooh looking to set up the head kick but he misses [Applause] don't wait don't wait I need you to punch got blocked [Applause] [Music] there lands a shot to the leg the issue with that kick as effective as it is one gets checked you have the Anderson Silva situation starting to do some really significant damage to the body here another strike lands there oh nice [Applause] well he's had next to no answers for the body shots here tonight and now some redness really starting to develop on that side we're starting to see the damage we're starting to visibly see the effect that all these body strikes are taking on this guy he's got to do something different he's got to be very careful because look for his opponent to go over the top now that he set him [Applause] up just over 3 minutes to go now right hand is there over the top it's so clear that the guy that's going forward is the guy that's [Applause] successful nice jab well he's really starting to land a high number of strikes here in this second round no denying that he has taken the message from his corner and picked up the pace here in round two it's just out of range with that right hand do not back up let's go forward now oh he connects there he's looking for that left hand not there oh they're trading huge shots here we'll see who's the last man standing massive head kick just over two minutes now to go in round two well you can sense the corner frustration he has not had any answer for these body shots and now you see the visible damage well his coaches are wondering where's the defens we worked on this we knew this would be an attack that they would come with why are you not doing what we've trained he's got to change something man he's got to tuck That Elbow he's got to roll and turn he cannot continue to take these body shots well he misses with the left punch [Applause] there nice hide in that head kick well this fight's been pretty crazy thus far both guys Dolen out a lot of damage and neither seems to bother by it but clearly both parties are hurt both guys are hurt both guys are fighting beautifully both are showing a lot of heart right now in this fight they're both doing amazing jobs let's see who gets the job done at the end of this [Applause] thing leg oh looking to land the leg kick that one checked nice counter right hook there oh he lands another strike to the body he just continues to punish his opponent's midsection here in this round get that score some points well he's been good tonight but he missed whatever beautiful kick to the body oh nice job avoiding the damage from That Elbow take down defens is there tags him with that uppercut bleeding now nasty cut on his nose oh looks like he's trying to set up the taked down there's the attempt 15 seconds and he connects there two rounds in the books all right there's the horn the round is over but not before he was cut on his nose from the strikes in that round back to the stool cut man is in should be able to shut that cut and prevent it from becoming an issue moving forward but of course as soon as he gets struck in that next round it could open back up all right well I'm no doctor I'm not going to diagnose a broken nose but a huge cut on the bridge and his opponent continues to attack it continues to attack it as he should he did the damage he was the one that landed the shot that opened up that cut now he's got to make his opponent pay for it he was a bit lack in defense and now he's got that mass cut on the bridge of his nose all right here we go with this third round of this championship fight all right next round is now underway hopefully the action continues at a high level pretty good first five minutes pretty good first five minutes both of them can really picked it up let's see who decides they're going to lead the dance as we go [Applause] forward well new round same result as he continues to punish the body yet again just as he did in the previous round well we may have the best cut men and women in the business but I'm not sure they're going to be able to do much with that cut it continues to widen with every passing and you're fighting a great fighter it's it's hard to deal with the damage of the cut while dealing with the level of the fighter in front of you right now you have got to do something different to try and change the way that this fight is playing on both Fighters exchanging the pocket here misses again with a Right Punch well not only has he stayed aggressive as he was in the previous round Landing a high volume of strikes but he's also been efficient not just with his strikes but also with his body movement complete performance out of this fighter here [Applause] tonight good [Music] [Applause] defense big inside kick another one misses on the uppercut there just over three minutes to go in round three right on the button oh and he caught the kick uppercut lands well you hear that crowd reaction every time he gets batter to the body I know how tough he is but really don't want to take too many more of those I mean even us grimon like how many more can this guy take he cannot continue to take these body shots it looks as though we're getting very close to a body shot [Applause] finish we have crossed the midpoint of this one nice kick oh he continues to land a high number of strikes in this round really hasn't led up when it comes to his aggressiveness certainly have to be mindful that you don't gas out but you you got to like the output on display Here and Now some separation oh beautiful straight right hand oh nice right hand by Champ [Applause] y unable to land with that punch [Applause] and that one certainly found the target beautiful bu nice Ki well he continues to do a nice job here defensively protecting his head raising the guard and really frustrating the offense a fighter a little bit less than one in boxing class hands up chin down and now some separation [Applause] o one minute now to go in the third both Fighters throwing heat now oh he's got to keep pressing here missed with that attempt head championship rounds out of this all day okay wake up you train way too hard right now we take a look back at some of the action in that previous round DC a lot to like on both sides really I mean both were intent on going forward and what happens when nobody wants to take a step back they meet in the middle that's exactly what they did and they both found success over the course of that round you ready to fight you ready we have arrived at the fourth round fight scheduled for five five minute rounds all right so here we go you can feel the tension fourth round is underway we'll see who has the upper hand here you feel it inside of the Arena the fighters feel it inside of the aagon it's palpable the energy is crazy because you understand that in the next 10 minutes someone's going to get a belt tra around their waist it's amazing [Applause] and now the jab gets through [Applause] that punch coming it's [Applause] blocked clean punch [Applause] well oh big right hand yeah he hurt him real bad he still hurt heard him again oh just out of range with that punch attempt nice block hey well that body kick was there earlier not there on that attempt big roundhouse now just misses well a lot of Fighters say there's no worse feeling on Fight Night than when your cardio abandons you and there's been a lot of output in this fight for both of these are absolutely got they both fought very hard but after round one you saw one guy's cardio said good night guys and in the second round you saw the other guy good night guys now they're left with no cardio and it's going to be a question of Will and determination and that going to be who win the fight looks as though that right eye might be starting to shut yes it is doing good it's okay Mo use your footwork [Applause] this work guys distance beautifully he's got a single call time great job getting that kick nice body kick well he has clearly faded in this one and I'm not talking about the high and tight skin fade on my man Daniel Cormier he got stunned earlier in the round and and mentally I feel like he checked out a little bit he hasn't been able to build back and fight the way that we're used to seeing him fight he needs to take a breath take a moment and get back to work nice uppercut lands a huge liver kick that might do it he's got to start going down lands a jab he's got that single collar tie locked in they're so evenly matched they're going TI for tap one minute oh beautiful switch kick lands oh got oh continuing to attack the head as that diving punch land whiffs on the straight right hand nice counter shot there going to the Sid kick oh uppercut under 20 seconds now to go great [Music] punch final seconds of round four he's are bad oh that's big save by the Bell that's the end of the round you heard the horn and it came just as he was stunned by a huge shot right before the end of the round so saved by the belt back to the stool 60 seconds with which to recover we'll see if his Corner can keep his head in the fight all right so there's the horns signifying the end of the round a stunner there with the head strike Midway through nearly got him out of there for good almost got him out of there he hurt him badly he had his opponent hurt real bad now his opponent's walking back to his Corner everybody looks confused they don't know what they're supposed to do to try to change the way that this fight is going ready to fight ready here we go Fifth and final R oh nice hit bigot oh he Dove and he lands wow big right hook coming [Applause] is stay relax bre oh he's hurt he's hurt that was a jab well he rocked him but couldn't finish him he rocked him he heard him bad he could find that one shot to close the door could not shut the lights off and now he's tked trying to find that shot again lands the sidekick now straight punch [Applause] useful well he's able to get back up here but oh man is he on wobbly legs oh my [Applause] goodness oh he didn't like that do it fight
