typical first day there were some good things and some things that was frustrating frustrating part is when you got to coach something over and over again after about four or five times saying it you're just defeating the purpose and you can't get on to the next item that you want to coach so had to give a little lesson there but other than that I thought it was uh pretty good effort probably got a little bit better you know we got some uh guys in the portal two or three guys there I really like our freshman class we got I think maybe I think might be Four Freshman running backs here in Camp and all of them are going to be good players and of course anoir Lewis looks in the best shape he's been since he's been here you got Ronnie who's uh we know can play as well so uh and we got a little bit of size for the first time at the running back with some of our transfers so it's um I think we're in a lot better shape than we were in Spring you want to be sizewise in this program uh a little bit better on offensive line you know coach trick has done a really good job we're bigger up front uh defensive and we got some in the transfer some bigger guys but we're pro probably still not big enough I think going forward in the future we got to get a little bit more size but at least now I think we're a little bigger now than we were a year ago if that's anything got a lot of guys PR time how do you think they handled the speed of the fact that you know that's a good question I think because most of them have been here in the summer you know skill development they had a little bit of taste of it but when you're going against each other it's still different and you know today was it yeah I don't want to say it's an easy day but you know it wasn't it wasn't 90 some de it was in the morning it was it wasn't as humid as normal so uh we shouldn't have had anybody getting IVs today and we get guys getting IVs so they must not be hydrating well uh must not be in the type of shape they need to be to play for us it's hard to put into words for me and say I missed the whole spring with a shoulder injury I had to get surgery after the season I played through the season with it so I'm just happy to get back out here and keep playing I mean you know it's great to be out here great feeling you got some guys back you played with but yet there's some new guys in there how long will it take yall to get that the dance going right between all that I think we already would say might be a few steps off but I think we're already pretty much there with the dance say we had cam Jones senior uh senior right tackle come in from Cincinnati and he's just he's a man's man guy I like to be around he's a guy I went down there in the trenches with me when things get hard I say some of the newer guys daveon cam they've stepped up they stepped up big all spring so I'm excited to play by him you know no no missteps here
