This morning, we continue to remember the four people who were shot and killed at Apalachee High School on Wednesday, math teachers, Richard Aspinwall and Christina Erie and 14 year olds, Christian Angelo and Mason Shermer Horn as the community of Winder begins to cope with what happened and they're looking to each other for strength. This is the kind of support. One Apalachee high school student tells us is helping her. As earlier this week, she was hiding in a dark classroom waiting for help. After her teacher was shot, 11 live Molly Oak shares her story with us. Signs of strength. Sit in the town of Winder messages of remembrance, mark the bouquets of flowers outside the school. I told my mom I love her and that there was someone with a gun. Letters of love from 115 year old to her family sent from her phone on Wednesday morning. And then I told my sisters I love y'all so much. There's someone here with a gun and I just want to tell you I love you. I'm here. Hazel God's got you a mother's message after her daughter. Sophomore, Hazel Biondi says she heard the shots and one of my teachers went, like, out to go see what it was and like, he peeked his head out and then as he was, um, shutting the door, he got shot saying her teacher saved students lives that day. Yes. I'm very grateful he shut that door, calling him a hero because if he hadn't shut that door, he might have came in. And I don't even want to think about that days after the noise, silent embraces, speak volumes. I'm glad as a community we can be closer. Now, symbols of support surrounding the students and the school with words of hope for healing. Hazel says she is still trying to process what happened this week and while she says she eventually wants to go back to school to see her friend, she says she's not sure she'll ever be able to walk down that hallway or sit in that classroom again. But she does say she still plans to go into law enforcement when she gets older because she wants to help people.
