All right, let's go to Megan Kernan. She is live in Nashville, Illinois where a major emergency has been playing out unfolding about an hour southeast of Saint Louis. This is just south of I 64 in Washington County, Illinois. We know Megan that the National Weather service has confirmed. The primary Nashville dam has not failed. It's the secondary, it's over topping and the secondary dam is releasing the water Illinois emergency management on the scene. Tell us what you can, Megan. Well, ok, as you just mentioned that secondary dam is right behind us. Actually, the National City reservoir is topping over its flooding over and to these roads into people's homes, into the streets here. And we, it took us well over two hours to get here to Nashville. A ride that normally takes about two hours from, from downtown ST Louis. Now, if you're heading here, just know that highway 64 is closed past Nashville. We've seen several on state route 15 trying to make their way through but they are blocked off. Emergency crews are asking them to turn around. They have actually moved the signs over and farther down the road on here on reservoir road just to push them back because they are trying to make their way over water is over the road. I mean in front of this one home of over here, it is completely flooded. Water is everywhere and it happens to be thanks to the secondary dam here. So people in parts of n were told to evacuate their homes by emergency personnel due to a dam feeling in the area. We've been getting a lot of videos from people all over the national area. Take a look at this video. We got from a viewer earlier. We check that this video from his home in Nashville. Now this is on route and drive near the intersection of highway 15 and county highway 17 that is southeast of the dam. Now you can see his entire backyard is just flooded out. Now, on our way out here, we saw water coming up on both sides of highway 64 and it was flowing everywhere. We saw farm fields that looks like lakes over here. We're seeing houses and yards that completely just look like lakes right now. So if you are and if you do see water on the road, please turn around and be as safe as you can if you are in the national area for now reporting live in Nashville, Megan K five on your side.
