Night at six o'clock. Uh We're getting our first look at the vehicles and guns seized this weekend during street takeovers. And we also learn more about the people who were arrested in this arrest documents list three people, Ariana Rivera, Jose Rivera and Marco Rivera Junior. As the co defendants, officers say the air unit, the helicopter spotted them doing donuts right here in burnouts in Cox Park late Sunday night and then followed them to Shively where they were arrested. You could see what they left behind now only on WHS 11 tonight, L MP D just gave us these new photographs they took, showing the two cars and the numerous weapons they seized following that incident at Cox Park including what appears to be an automatic weapon sitting right in the middle of the hood there toward the top of it. The confiscations are allowed now under a new metro ordinance. Other video from the weekend captured a takeover at the intersection of New Cut road in Kenwood Drive. This is right near the entrance to Iroquois Park today. The interim police chief, Paul Humphrey said they will not allow these incidents to happen when we get information that's gonna happen. We are going to address it. We are gonna be out there in force and we're gonna make sure that we seize these cars. We take people to jail, we write citations, we seize their guns and we make sure that it is unacceptable and they know that they're not gonna get away with it. Chief Humphrey says they don't have to catch people in the act. The ordinance gives them up to a year to identify the participants of the street takeovers and then seize their vehicles which by the way, are sitting in the impound lot tonight.
