Trump can win on character and you got vilified for it by the Press I talk about it I've been called a low life and a-hole you know this is comes with the territory but I just gave advice to how Trump can win you know and run run a good campaign I'd be happy to do the same thing for KLA Harris I don't think she's going to take the advice but my basic point is that you know Trump says that you know I I need personal attacks he's not wrong they just need to be strategic and when when people on the outside say oh we should be talking about the economy and the issues they're not wrong either it just needs to be dovetailed to all the go to or suitability for the office and I think a classic example of how this works you regret in 2012 Barack Obama wins reelection and his campaign hits mitt Ramy on the issues hard but all the issue hits though go back to this case they made against him on character right they said he's this out of touch vulture capitalist who who hates people doesn't like ordinary workers so it was a character campaign they won against Romney and I think the same sort of campaign needs to be run against Harris saying she's weak phony and doesn't truly care about people so all all the issues hits need to come back to to that well and it's interesting because if you listen to the DNC Rich of course everything was going after quote Trump's character I mean they had no substance it was all sort of smoke and mirrors and it was Trump is the bad guy Trump is the this um you're saying flip the script yeah yeah and and these these are all qualities that go to to her suitability to be president again so let's let's talk about interviews her lack of inter interviews which we've talked a lot about is outrageous maybe we're going to get one by the way we are I don't know if no it's just been an announcement an announcement yep it's going to be CNN CNN Thursday 9:00 uh Walton Harris are doing it together apparently with with Anderson Cooper uh I'm not sure who go check I know it's with CNN I don't know who the host will we're gonna figure it out John's gonna have the answer but but she but she just agre Harris and Waltz to to sit with CNN for exclusive first joint interview since campaign began see they don't trust they don't trust her to do it alone yeah he's gonna kick her and go I'll take this one no I'll answer this one no no no I'll answer this one it'll be like uh do you have any uh any points Camala yeah I'm not surprised they're doing a joint interview for for you know she need she needs the crutch but anyway even if she does this one interview she she's obviously not out there the way Trump or JD Vance are and and most voters probably don't care about that much unless you can make the case the reason why she's not doing it because she's weak and Afraid and if she can't handle a friendly press Corp how is she going to handle a crisis in the Taiwan stri she's too weak this is the test to see if they're going to trust her to go on do the debate and by the way I'm going to win that1 doar yet oh yeah I know I was talking John I was talking to Sid this morning about that when when KLA came out yesterday with the new demand I thought uh oh she's gonna back out I'm gonna owe John a dollar and by the way we're we're being told that it's Dana Bash um who is one remember she was one of the moderators for the debate uh that she is the one who's going to be doing uh their interview it's their first joint interview again on Thursday night with Dana Bash it's interesting that they're doing it together like you just said it's like this like uh please answer for me Tim please answer yeah it's just it's just bizarre I mean Trump Trump trump is is campaigning one place and JD Vance is campaigning in another place to to maximize the effect and instead these two they're joined together and so what's the point of having Waltz if he's just standing behind you laughing and applauding like a trained seal yeah and also the debate is happening too uh this a busy news day here Rich uh it just came out a little bit ago Trump announced that the debate is going to happen on September 10th it's going to be on ABC and he said that they've agreed to the same terms as CNN which means a standing she wanted to sit in ABC certified that they're not going to give the uh the the uh question the question yeah even though Donna Brazil works there yeah I think Trump needs this debate there there not going to be a lot of high profile settings to expose her this might be the only one in fact so he needs it to happen and needs to take it really seriously because uh I think Republic is a little overconfident on this one she's gonna she's memorizing note cards as as we speak you know she she's someone who rehearsed going to a dinner party and Washington once so she's not she's not gonna come unprepared so Trump needs to be uh take this one in great earnestness and and really take her down a notch yeah absolutely absolutely
