Casting Details Announced for New Harry Potter Series and 'Happy Gilmore 2' | Beyonce Reveals Why...

it's tea time with Brooklyn and Renee on 97.3 WME well casting has begun for HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series and producers say they're actually committed to a very inclusive diverse casting but what I find interesting about that Harry Potter being a Harry Potter fan myself I should say is that the casting for the original films the description of the characters in the books they're already pretty diverse so even though the books describe the characters in a variety of ways I feel like we'll have to see what they do with the TV series because I feel like they've already done that but maybe they can improve even a little bit more now the show is going to cover the entirety of the seven books each season is going to cover one book so we should get at least seven seasons out of it but if you've read Harry Potter you know as you hit book four five six seven they keep getting thicker so I'm I'm thinking maybe we'll get more than seven seasons potentially it's going to be a lot but if you're a Harry Potter fan already if you've already read the books if you've seen all the movies you already know it's a lot so they not really in for a surprise there I'm excited to watch it we'll have to let you know when the release date is set because they have not announced it just yet but speaking of casting Bad Bunny has joined the cast of Happy Gilmore to they made the announcement yesterday with Netflix but if you're wondering who else is going to be in it Adam Sandler will return for the sequel both to start in it and he's also helping co-write and produce the movie other popular names Christopher McDonald and jie Julie Bowen will return for their roles as Shooter McGavin and Virginia venet and good old Travis Kelsey is going to have a cameo in the movie cuz of course he is but if you want to watch this one another one that doesn't have a release date yes just yet so I'll keep you updated on that one as well but lastly this morning if you ever asked yourself why does Beyonce release new music but no longer does music videos there's a reason for that so she came out and said quote I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals the the world can focus on The Voice sometimes the visual can be a distraction from the quality of the music and the voice the music's enough the fans from all over the world become the visual we all get the visual on the tour which I guess that's true if you're going to go see her perform live obviously you're going to view the music in a different way than you would if you're just listening online on streaming services on the radio but I kind of get what she's saying I feel like it's when you read a really good book series and you have in your head what the characters look like and all makes sense everybody works out and then you go see the movie and it's completely different than what you imagined and it kind of just changes everything so I I say I think it's safe to say that Beyonce is probably not coming out with any music videos anytime soon and that's tea time today here on 973 WME podcast by Federated media
