begin CBS News Miami at 6 with breaking news Broward County Public Schools sent an email this afternoon to parents in the district about a threat posted to social media the district says the post threatens several schools and that Broward County Schools is working closely with law enforcement to see if the threat is credible and to identify those responsible that threat follows threats made this week in a couple of schools of Miami day County a 14-year-old student at Lamar louiz Curry Middle School appeared in court on Friday he is accused of posting a threat on Instagram Thursday night it is a picture of a handgun with the message don't go to school two Dural Academy students are also accused of threatening a school shooting this threat was also addressed in court on Friday Broward schools is asking parents to remind your children that making a school threat is a felony it could result in an arrest and expulsion the district did not say which schools were mentioned in that threat
