Intro wonder why you weren't a thousand-yard rusher in college you know uh well uh if you if you uh look back at it kinda uh they brought you in jameer gibbs you know i he he's a player so you know he he had to play him so you know that's my dog and you know we had to have to share the carry so you know just yeah what's it been like for you to Whats it been like to get this opportunity get this opportunity here with the 49ers this summer just uh just honored and blessed uh you know just know that i'm in the one percent it's i mean i'm just here just to you know make my family proud and the people that support me proud and you know just putting on for the 615 that's all what did they say to you to convince you Why did you join the 49ers to join the 49ers i'm sure you had other options you know well this just fit my running style so i was just like why not let's go you know so How do you feel it fits your running style how do you say how do you feel it fits your running style like the um like just eight yards deep behind the qb and let's let's go wise on let's go inside inside zone you know and that i think that that fit my run style One cut and getting up field one cut and getting up field is that something that feels natural to you that's just natural it just comes to me it's in my play what's your background with with zone Zone running running and let the white zone things like that uh well uh for a minute i didn't have it uh at uh georgia tech we had the triple option so at first i wasn't uh but then when a new coach staff came in uh i feel like uh we we ran a little bit of y zone and stuff like that so it's just my play you know that's just that's just my run style is your experience in the triple option College style in helping you with some of the uh college style run concepts you're doing out here no i i don't know i don't know i mean we i ran into high school too so i kind of came from that style and i feel like just coming with the triple option i think that was just more physical than uh you know the y zone and stuff like that so yeah what do you think it is Running back position about the running back position that it seems like more than any other position guys that are drafted like really late or not at all wind up making teams and contributing right away maybe more so than any other position what was your question on that Not drafted late what do you think it is about the running back position that guys that are not drafted or drafted late like last year elijah mitchell led the team in rushing he's a six round draft pick and that happens a lot in this league where running backs taken fairly high don't get as many yards as guys that are drafted late what do you think people miss on or get any clues on why that is nah no clues uh you know that's a that's above my pay grade right there you know uh you know you pay you pay people to uh to scouters and so just just i hope they looking to you know the scout what i what i got Finishing runs you jeff wilson ty davis price you guys finished runs with a lot of power and violence is that something that the coaches talk to you about when you watch the film and when you go through practice um coach lane has said something to me like he just loves the way i finish forward and yeah that's about it thanks for joining hey
