during the break going all the way back to Indie you're learning some things about these race cars on these fast tracks that you didn't expect to learn huh yeah I mean it's the same package we run at Atlanta uh so intermediate car with like our Daytona or Talladega restrictive plate motor engine package so Indie was uh yeah learning experience for us we didn't know you know how much to trim the car out or how much downforce to put in it and I didn't think we had a terrible car at at uh Indie but just learned a lot on how to make it go faster throughout the day and yeah the guys had three weeks to work on it so uh that can go a long way for time in the shop and and these guys just work really hard so just uh brought a really fast car for today all right thank you we'll go to questions us here Michigan where we're able to announce another important step in hos Factory team's preparation for 2025 as you can see we've got two stars of the NASCAR Infinity Series with us here today Sheldon Creed and Sam mayor and in between them is hos Factory team President Joe kuster who will provide some additional details on their respective roles come 2025 so Joe the floor is yours well this feels a a little um like a bit throwback to Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvey and having a kind of talent in our room it's a big day for hos Factory team for these Two Fellas to to believe in our program enough it says a lot we uh we plan on dominating next year and if we don't it'll be I'll be responsible for that because we certainly have the drivers that can get it done I think we're going to give you a lot to talk about I think it's going to be an exciting year with the CW and I think these two guys are going to lead our charge into a uh multi-year deal we got seven years with CW and I don't know if I can keep him around for seven years I don't think so we're going to wear them out and I'm looking forward to it our group this year has done a good job of setting the table and these guys are going to take advantage of it looking forward to a great year Sheldon Creed you won the poll yesterday so in honor of that we'll start with you first uh what made you decide that hos Factory team was where you wanted to be in 2025 yeah I think there is a lot that goes into a decision like this you know obviously angle is cup so what is hos Factory tied to where is it going uh they have an alliance with RFK moving forward and I think for me it was a multiple year contract going forward where can I grow more in Xfinity where can I win races and um hos Factory seem to be the place for me 80% chance of rain this afternoon is it yeah I say that I can already feel the sprinkles yep good day brother yeah um sorry yesterday yesterday was really good our car is really fast was third in practice felt really good in dirty air which was which is nice cuz you don't know what the package you're trying to get as much speed as you can but you wanted to drive good as well so I was really happy with everything and then uh was able to to get another pole which is great you know Indie was uh very track position dependent so we're going to start with that today hopefully I don't know what rain looks like but then uh yeah something exciting got to announce our hos Factory deal for next year the next 2 years yeah just exciting times great to get a poll before did we go this way that I don't know we go so yeah just just a lot of good things going on right now and need to keep performing and win some races that's what we need Pre Race to do [Music] consistently right that on right that's right I think you tangle this thing every time that's cuz I don't care on purpose yeah make it work for it ain't going to come to you you got to go get it you know yeah thank you coach Prime around he goes lock it down lock it down lock it down get her straight here you watch him gain getting into turn three now the 18s up the racetrack a little bit and now he's pulling the air off the back of the car that's the second Joe Gibbs Toyota we have seen spin out with no contact that tells us they qualified fast there's your pole sitter he has low down force in that car the minute the Riley Herz put his front bumper at his rear bumper around he went all the down forest left the car oh [Applause] [Music] 1 2 3ah Creed to the bottom of the racetrack he still has a little bit of help with neem two by two for fif and a big wreck the 88 gets caught up in Carson qule the caution comes out that will end the race upside down and over goes to 28 so Kyle SE back on his wheels and olar will win in Post Race Michigan but that is now 11 second place finishes for Sheldon Creed I wonder how this one sort of leaves you though it looked like you had a car enough to keep up with a seven but how was that last restart from your perspective I got bogged down there a little bit been three and four I think they were two or three wide and I think the 30 was coming up so I lost a little ground there but um just really proud of everyone at JG gets racing our sh we struggled and they got a pull yesterday with tri PL so that's big for PR and back at jgr and I don't know this one frustrates me the most just CU I was saving fuel there behind the 20 we're you know maybe three to four laps short there so I was trying to buy some time and I knew the seven wasn't going to have to as much and kind of let him go and yeah just caution caution at the wrong time that hurt us like once I went and got around the 20 and was running the seven down I I felt like I had a car just F Infinity internet and put a to them so yeah that one that one sting a little bit but I'm super proud of everyone uh obviously announced new plans for next year but starting today 13 races left and I really think we're turning into team that can uh make a really good fight for Championship hey it's guys sh Creed here uh finished second good day overall um yeah about it I don't really know what else had good day Taylor Gray here um qualified thirdd and a relatively good day finished 8th and days so uh overall pretty strong strong day and pretty good is that what you would say no I would say that I did a terrible job actually cuz I gave my right it happens learning good weekend overall I would say it's really loud on the ear yeah I got to announce plans for next year uh overall good weekend you know big hos guy Ford guy now big Ford guy now so uh yeah just proud of everyone started with a really good car to fire off practice qualified on pole and um had a really good car in the race today probably saved fuel for three or four laps too long to let the seven go by um and then obviously that rain caution at the end hurt hurt cuz then it put down to agree my Checker and um yeah just didn't you know build a run or it didn't work out to build a run so 11 second place finishes brother second place finishes 11 it's history new record that actually not not proud of it but we'll move on Daytona next week didn't craft in one a championship not winning a single race he did yeah look at that dude he did I don't want to do that no no [Music]
