Hart County KY Prairie Kingsnake from today - 19 May 2024

okay prairie king snake lamp prop pelus cagaster been a good year for these snakes actually it's uh gosh it's a hot day it's already probably well under the 80s uh this Snake Here looks like it could very well be a gravid female possibly maybe trying to get some additional warmth to uh warm those eggs up a little bit she's a little bit feisty but that's okay yeah good- looking animal looks pretty healthy guess she's still definely um extend or distend it a bit like in the back end yeah you go it's okay girl I know you're a little bit upset yeah I really like these snakes they uh even when not gravid they have a a thickness to them which I find very appealing yeah try not to disturb too much all right yeah good to see
