this is an update on Hurricane Francine a categary 1 hurricane currently located off the coast of Louisiana and Texas in the Gulf of Mexico and this data is coming from the National Hurricane Cent's website and it's moving at around 60 mph in a northeastly direction it has a pressure of 976 MB and sustained winds of 90 mph so puts it right in that category 1 status of hurricanes so the issue is the heavy rain that the hurricane is going to bring over the coastal areas of Louisiana and Texas and it's going to make its way over the South or deep south over the next few days and it's going to cause flooding or flash flooding and also the storm surge which could be up to around 10 ft in some areas of the Gulf Coast around Louisiana so hopefully everyone is evacuated and safe in these areas and hopefully this dissipates quickly
