Interview 03 David Speirs Leader of the Opposition in South Australia

well I think it's so important to celebrate uh South Australia and celebrate the great things that are happening in Adelaide we are historically an Innovative Community lots happening in this state lots of people doing very smart very creative things so bringing them all together to tell the stories and to and to celebrate what's happening it's just such an important thing well I was South Australia's farmer environment Minister and for four years and to present day really I love celebrating environment mental achievements and in terms of the water industry in particular I'm really interested in the use of water and really smart ways to bring this city alive to uh to produce food and fiber to support our mining industry and a range of other things and I love how smart South Australia is when it comes to water use we're probably one of the smartest places in the world and again that's little known so it's worth drawing that out and celebrating it I think one of the great things about South Australia is that it's big enough to make a big impact but small enough to bring people together to build relationships to uh spark off one another and to create success so so we we aren't a tiny City but we are small enough to make a difference and we're big enough to experiment in to take things to the world
