History in South Brooklyn: Moving into the New Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital

[Music] oh my goodness [Music] today we're moving a hospital we're moving into our brand new Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital hey we're very excited it looks so beautiful we've been looking forward to this for a very long time already it's not stressful at all I have an incredible team they're doing a wonderful job but it is taking hundreds of people to make this happen look at the Sunrise is so foreign I work in finance and I'm volunteering here today it's great you know you get to see something new it's like a newborn baby coming into the world as I luck it stand put your hand here I'm excited I'm in awe it's just as an experience I have never seen before okay anything you need feel free to call and ask okay so this is the command center here we're actually tracking the patient movement HJ 812 just arrived well if you need anything you can press it and we'll be right in this also works your TV right here I love this View people are all being very nice to me we're able to give our patients what we've always thought they deserved and they're able to wake up to mornings like this in the worst of times when they're admitted when they feel the very sick biggest part of our hospital has been moved so yeah those are like little complicated patients still more and some more stretchers some are Wheelchairs and we're going floor to floor to floor so yes I'm very excited it's been open 10 years in the making it's been a lot of running around but a lot of good feels really good to have this finally open [Music] facility is very soothing it's very calming and you know the spirit of healing is not just the care it's also the way your environment appears to you and how you feel so sufficient it's Innovative and it's beautiful all right guys finish [Music] [Applause] one two three sbh welcome to South Brooklyn Health it's a beautiful feeling to be here
