I Clicked Phishing Links in my Email to See What Happens

all right guys today we're going to be discussing a topic spam emails or fishing emails fishing emails are very um very upfront like you have to take immediate action to click a link right let me show you an example your iCloud storage is full but as part of your loyalty program you can now receive an additional 50 GB for free if you click this link now if someone is desperate enough to get some iCloud storage they would click that link if they don't know any better that is essentially what we're going to be doing in this video as a YouTuber I want to show you guys some of the stuff that I have to deal with so I'm going to show you guys an email from 2023 of this sponsorship that I got offered by the way these are more of the intricate emails that I get but we're going to be dumbing it down later on after this I just want to kind of show you guys the kind of crazy sh that I had to deal with and that's why I do not reply to my own emails anymore so let me show you how intricate this scammer is because back then I didn't know any better right this guy named Charles McKay offering me a integration for this company called vandalism sounds so in the moment I was like what does vandalism sounds right it seems like a uh like a sound effect sampler presets kind of website you know for people that make music so I was like okay that doesn't sound like a horrible sponsorship right so I was like okay I'm interested and then he kept on going he was like let me tell you more about our future service and vandalism sounds Ultimate Edition you will be able to access all of our sample packs and preset packs for credits each subscription plan will have a different amount of credits so he's he's telling me about this new thing that they're releasing and that I have to promote and then he offers $4,000 for a pre-roll placement I'm not going to lie I was like okay this this company is is offering banss right I'm like okay I think I was too ignorant to realize that the email is at ne.com so if we type this in what is this what is this dude it's Korean the [ __ ] is this this isn't vandalism sounds I was too dumb to realize that so I kept going and he sent over I I mean I I handed this guy my [ __ ] name and my email which I inspect elemented out and then he sent me a attachment an agreement to sign and I signed it I don't know at the time I thought this was pretty legit like he's [ __ ] telling me all this like he's luring me in ends up sending me a GitHub link to their ultimate edition that I had to download and promote pretty much that page is no longer available by the way there was a password for it to download and then I ended up actually downloading this onto my laptop at the time I I just had a gut feeling because at this time I've been hacked already before so I was like okay I'm not downloading this [ __ ] on my main computer I'm going to at least try to download it on my laptop and it wasn't opening you can see the file right here I took a photo and then he ended up saying in order for the installer to start please log into your Google account with the main channel tranium in your windows browser that was when I was like [ __ ] no dude and then and then I was like how come your email is not an official vandalism sounds email and then he was like this is my personal email address and then he linked his LinkedIn dude he's linking me some random dudes LinkedIn this guy is a psychopath I got very close I got very close to a crypto live stream showing up on my channel at 4: in the morning other than that though I get a lot of these kind of emails where you got to click a link it's like right there it's just immediate there's no Small Talk they're just like Okay click this [ __ ] now I know a lot better I've been uh you know I've been learning a few things I'm not going to fall for that kind of [ __ ] again trust me but in this video we're just going to be looking at some fishing emails that I got and we're just going to be clicking them because why not right since we're already on the iCloud storage's full email we might as well just analyze this [ __ ] real quick no reply at mainstage travel.co VIA mail gun. org so how many [ __ ] pipelines are they running this email through let's just go on mail gun. org 404 not found okay it is registered so that's interesting what what is mail gun mail gun. org mail gun is just an email delivery service why is it then being sent from mainstage travel.co mainstage travel okay it's not it's not really adding up it it's a travel company in the UK and they're sending me a iCloud email I guess we might as well just click it right now I'm not dumb enough to click this [ __ ] in my actual email because they'll probably steal my cookies or some [ __ ] so I forwarded this to my alternate email on a laptop I'm taking all the measures that I possibly can here so yeah now we are on our email [ __ ] load I'm on my hot spot now I'm on my alternate email spam inhaler 1 two 3 and we're going to be inhaling this spam by just simply pressing it oh God this link leads to storage. gooogle apis which may redirect you to a different destination okay oh God so it forwarded me to the same exact thing so the magical button right here is going to instantly give me 50 GB how to claim your 50 GB of iCloud storage fill in your address details pay only $2 to activate your 50 gigabytes of storage my gosh this is such a good deal even though I'm pretty sure you could just pay Apple directly yeah I oh yeah I totally believe this enter your details below yeah this is uh safe payment this is a very safe payment here [ __ ] dumbass guys if you need iCloud storage that bad I'm pretty sure Apple just offers the same amount of storage for $2 you don't have to go a little more suspicious because it's coming from Isel bdar at yandex.ru you already know if they have a Yandex email they're trying to [ __ ] you pyman attempt fail during renewal of your iCloud storage subscription your payment method has expired update your payment information it expired uh a month ago let's see if this link works then like these are super urgent I guess it's the same more concerning so this next one is from Instagram all spaced out very very official the email is ABD lamb at Yandex again we got another Russian we've received a request to reset your Instagram password you have one message from Instagram we're sorry to hear that you're having trouble signing in to Instagram we've received the message that you forgot your password how do you know that I forgot my password if you ignore this message your password will be changed if you didn't request a password reset let us know about it's not showing the uh the button though it's not showing this button on the other end interesting so what do I do then what about the unsubscribe here button it doesn't look like it's uh leading me to the place I want to go okay let me just find a new one next up we got an email from Facebook apparently totally doesn't look sketchy at all look at this [ __ ] email it's so long what kind of email service is this via bang.com let's look this [ __ ] up better not take me to porn swear to God it's not even Lo it wasn't even loading dude oh my God I'm scared I'm scared to like continue to let it load what about who do is it's Chinese oh gosh here we go status inactive okay so the website's not even active anymore a user just logged into your Facebook account from a new device supp the user or yes it's me they're both taking me to the same link here is no information on it okay UPS apparently my package got suspended but it's still coming and it's waiting for delivery use your code to track it and receive it schedule your delivery and subscribe to our push notifications to avoid this from happening again let's schedule the I'm just pressing it I'm letting I'm letting this [ __ ] thing sing right now so it opened up track trace you have one message from us please click confirm to open it August 26th package stuck in Depot waiting for shipping payment dude I paid for shipping how else did it get shipped out you [ __ ] idiots all right I'm pressing confirm that doesn't really look like a tracking number to me let's actually track this on ups and see if this is legit whatsoever is my package actually being h held ooh that was pretty obvious let's schedule this delivery what happens next dude a lot of these things are literally just fishing for your details oh shipping fee is $2 wow that's a great deal I'm going to pick it up myself the package is already at the Depot so I can't I can't pick it up I can't go and pick it up why is it sitting on someone's hardwood floor at the Depot that looks like someone's house I guess I need to have it delivered to me at work when do you want it delivered the weekend sure they ask questions thinking you're not even you're going to think it's legit or some [ __ ] estimated delivery 3 days enter your contact information on the following page and pay $2 in shipping costs yeah okay why is it $10 now you [ __ ] scammers I guarantee you like an older person that just ordered something gets this email they're just like oh [ __ ] I I need to do this then and then all your details are being sent to Chinese scammers and Russian scammers you name it they're sharing details and just swiping the card it seems like that email that we sent I'm getting reply oh my god dude they sent me nine attachments okay so a lot of these emails are rejecting but I got a response back so we're going to have to forward this to spam inhaler let's see how infected we're going to get just by opening an image I know if you just simply open a PDF on Gmail you can get hacked this could do something it could not I have no CL clue just know that I would never [ __ ] click these what is this [ __ ] man why why is there nine attachments what if I download one now I got a Chinese picture on my computer it's just a black screen oh there we go what was the point of them sending this if you have received large nu nu of Bounce mails which are unexpected please change password okay oh where
