Germany signs agreement with Kenya to bring in skilled workers

Kenya's president in deal with German un F that will see Kenya immigrants stay for longer in the European nation the two countries signed IM migration and labor Mobility agreement which German Chancellor sh saying will help Germany compensate the glaring shortage of skilled labor a very important agreement from my point of view it opens up prospects for Kenyans because skill workers or young people can come to Germany for training this can help us to compensate for the glaring shortage of skilled labor on the EXP of the long stay Visa Kenyans may receive a temporary residence permit to stand in Germany for up to two years this will also be extended if the purpose for the residence has not been achieved today we celebrate the signing of this comprehensive migration and labor Mobility partnership agreement that will provide a context for expanding the relationship between our two countries the People to People relationship and for giving us an opportunity to unlock the potential in technology in Germany and human capital in Kenya where we have a big youth bulge educated Innovative hardworking young people Germany has grappled for years with a need to attract more skilled workers from outside the European Union experts say the country needs about 400,000 skilled immigrants each year as its agging Workforce shrink
