the middle of the press conference does it hold back wasn't happy with the performance of the Las Vegas ases going against the Dallas Wings losing the ball game 9390 and I'll tell you this when you get to this level and you hear a coach that's going to speak her mind that's what she did and I'm going to give you the reaction to this cuz this one here is just just hitting right at home when it comes to Becky H the actual level of play um could you just break down you know what happened you know dur through what's game your perspective um and you know what led up to you know the collapse at the end well we didn't defend we fouled and we didn't rebound and we shot the three terrible again so it's a bad combination um some of those things are in our control some of them aren't nobody's trying to miss shots um but it's tough to win on the road um when you shoot what five for 20 5 for 19 um 26% and then just get handled in the paint now and it didn't really matter who I put in there big we got handled small we got handled um and you can kind of see right there Becky's just calling them out folks she's just calling them out she just is like you know what you know what you guys you guys stink okay and she's letting her teammate now now this something I tell Christy Sid chrisy siid Indiana Fever you can learn from this because back-to-back Champions and you're going to be a champion and that's what it's all about you got you can to have a team meeting you know you get all the way back to how about them Cowboys right and you get you get on in there and you look at some coaches Jimmy Johnson have a meeting Becky Hammond's calling out the team and she's not holding back and she's going uncut on the Las Vegas Aces after their loss okay to the Dallas swings she has nothing that she's ashamed of so then you try to switch here it's like you're not stopping anybody you're not rebounding but I mean when you look down and Asia and jackar high rebounders with six that's not going to get it done uh Megan 11 minutes zero rebounds Alicia Clark 22 minutes zero rebounds like it's just it's it's tough when you don't rebound the ball and then we now that's just cutting it just like it is folks I'm just letting you know that begy Hammond is not holding back okay like you getting 22 minutes zero rebounds you playing 23 minutes zero rebounds okay sometimes you know you got to shake your team you got to move your team and you got to go uncut on your team and that's what Becky Haven's doing when she's calling out players names okay in the press conference letting them know that you are not doing your job that is something that Rarity but when you go back to back okay and you got the Accolade man you can have a team meeting right in the middle uncut telling your players exactly what they are doing and telling them what they're not we F three-point Shooters um and then gave up 32 in the fourth quarter so that's on us uh we have to figure out how to get stops down the stretch when it when it matters and we haven't shown the ability to you know keep leads which is disappointing but with a team like this who I think is super high powerered offense you have to defend giving up 93 points like we're not that good offensively this year to give up 93 calling them out calling them out Becky Hammond's calling them out folks just calling the team out letting the players no you're not that good you are not that good okay and when she breaks that down and she gets in there and she's calling out her team and letting them know you're not that good okay to be giving up 93 points you're not that good on offense first of all okay I've been telling you this but now Becky's chose to just have the team meeting right in the middle of the press conference and that's sometimes what you got to do when you're team is struggling because everybody's got a big head walking around thinking like they're it and Becky Hammond's letting them know straight up you're not it you're not even close to being it and this is something that you don't get to see all the time but you're seeing it now we haven't shot it well we haven't moved it well enough so you you better defend 90 points is enough to win a game I guess not when you give up 93 though that's not good math for us and OB you know sat and Natasha wasn't here laugh can talk about their impact on the game as well well I mean they're three level scorers both of them I thought saw two um got off early way too comfortable just came off pick and rolls nobody's there like at some point people have to take accountability like I'm sorry but you have to be up and pick a roll you have to be you have to block out your man you have to go help The Bigs when they have those those big bodies in there crashing every time like when you know exactly what the other team needs to do and you can't handle it that's concerning so that that's calling them straight out that that that that right there is calling them straight out with the kettle and the pot and Becky Hammond's exhausted in the press conference saying look you're not stepping up you're not showing you're not getting up there and helping recover and and she's talkling directly okay you got AEL Wilson see here's the deal a just dropped 42 points don't play no defense okay don't play no defense okay don't block those shots not in there and not getting it in and Becky Hammond's about to had it okay she's about to had it she's heard it she's heard it time and time again she's hurted so much she's tired how concern why can't make them do it they have to do it you know what am I going to do pull pull them out like anybody I put in there didn't rebound that was that was the whole whole deal and on a on a game where we do a great job moving our feet being active Zer we don't foul them on shooting fouls in the first half and then what did they shoot 19 in the second half so it's a foul shot per minute you're not winning games like that you're just not calling them out folks Becky Hammond's putting them on the spot okay what are you giving up a free throw a minute you don't win games like that letting their team know that you guys aren't even close to winning you're playing horrible basketball and I'm going let you know straight out of the kettle okay uncut she's talking directly to her team they might smile and laugh and travel and have all that fun but Becky Hammond's like you guys are terrible you guys are flat out not playing basketball you're not rebounding you're not playing defense you're not getting in there and helping recover and she's just having a team meeting okay an uncut team meeting in a press conference this is here is what B back to the NFL and Jimmy John and that's just about moving our feet and it was one through five whoever I put out there uh it falls back on all of us at the end of the day Mike vuli vul sorry I don't know where VY came from VY is that a nickname on a new a new new last name Becky I see that actually I wanted to ask you a little bit I asked the players how how dangerous it can be to sort of face these teams down the stretch that have gotten players back either through injury or whatever I mean we saw that with Washington yesterday we've seen I believe now Dallas has scored 113 points and 93 points in two games how difficult is that I know you're not happy with your defense but how tough is it that some of these teams are are really still alive and kicking if you will well at the end of the day I mean your studs got to play like studs all three of their all all three of their horses played like horses tonight and I mean Asia was a monster get a decent game from Jack um I thought KP was getting downhill getting people involved she probably had you know she only had five assists but probably had five or six hockey assists so she was doing a great job Distributing um didn't necessarily shoot it but she was doing some other good things for us and then we get a pretty good game out of Chelsea um but the rest got to do more around it and it had to do more with the defensive end tonight than the offensive end I mean there it is folks there it is that that that is plain day calling out your team the ref got to do better okay calling out Asia Wilson saying Chelsea had a great game but everybody's got to step up to win and and this happens in the WNBA I know what happens in the NBA and definitely in the NFL I mean they just call you out but when you get to the press conference and you start to discussing players by name okay that's just really letting you know you guys aren't getting it maybe you'll get it if I talk to you in this manner and she's calling everybody out it takes you know what it takes credibility one your backto back champions with the same players now two the players are for whatever reason on the court off the court have lost okay their mentality and their ability to focus okay she's telling them in the press conference you've lost your ability to focus if you don't Focus you won't win in this league and you're giving up too many points this is something that needed to be done Becky Hamond did it she's trying to light a fire under this team The Voice sometime the sound gets tuned out it's understandable will the players tune back in this is the Money Mike syndicated
