All right. Go ahead, Jesse. You go ahead and do your, uh, go ahead and text your friends while I tell you the weather. And then, and then my favorite part when the show is over. Hey, hey, Jesse, what be like tomorrow? Like tomorrow, if I hadn't just done three minutes of weather, so pay attention, will you? All right. So here's the deal. We have a little bit of rain in East Texas and a couple of sprinkles making their way through, uh, parts of Ellis County and the county. These are just kind of the very far bands of Francine, but the steadier rain is in East Texas tonight and that's where it's going to stay for the rest of the overnight. Uh, you can see some rain from Clarksville to Texarkana down to Mount Pleasant Dallas, Fort Worth area. There really isn't much. I mean, a, again, a Sprinkle tonight. That's it as we go through the overnight, same thing, mostly cloudy skies, a light shower or two. We start Thursday off with clouds. We end with sunshine. So you wake up to a cloudy day, we'll have sunshine for the afternoon that will help temperatures a little bit so highs tomorrow, upper eighties, it's getting starting to get a little bit warmer. Then we start to get hot, especially for the weekend, Friday, 95 Saturday, 99 degrees Sunday, 9897 Monday, Tuesday, 96. This is all going to be on the backside of Francine, which is moving to the northeast. Uh, and as it does, we get behind, uh, behind this sinking air, dry air starts uh to push in place and that's what warms us up to tens near 100 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Some folks could very well hit 100. You thought it was over, didn't you? There's the heavy rain right now in southeastern Louisiana, New Orleans about to get a little bit of a break, which is much needed at this point because flash flooding has been a problem there. Now, Mississippi will be tapping into that flash flooding potential as we go through the rest of tonight, tropical storm Francine winds of 70 miles an hour with gusts of 85. It's moving northeast at 16 miles an hour and it may landfall at five o'clock in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana as a category two with winds of 100 MPH, still a a good amount of rain 5 to 8 inches of rain for parts of southern Mississippi. Overnight. Tonight and Francine will continue to track to the north and bring 4 to 6 plus inches of rain through most of the state of Mississippi, parts of Tennessee, including Nashville could see several inches of rain even into the Ohio River Valley. Then it just kind of fizzles out there in the Midwest. Then our attention will turn farther east in the Atlantic. So there's your, your track is Francine continues to weaken tonight again, was a category two. Now, just a tropical storm as it, uh moves off to the north, it becomes a tropical depression and then just the remnants. Now we'll be watching this. Not yet, but eventually likely by tomorrow morning we'll have tropical storm Gordon in the eastern Atlantic. That'll move into the central Atlantic by early next week where it goes from there. It's a little too early to say there's still plenty of time and it's something that we will definitely be keeping an eye on. It is the peak of hurricane season tonight. 68 degrees isolated shower, maybe a rumble of thunder, especially east tomorrow, 88 morning clouds PM. Sun a little bit warmer. A little bit more humid, a lot more warm and a lot more humid on Saturday and Sunday with highs close to 100 degrees. Uh Then beyond that, no big changes as we go through the next, uh you know, two weeks, he will stay in the nineties for the most part with minimal chances for rain really quick. Santa's Helpers. We're still getting a head start on it this year. You can aim your camera at this QR code, if you'd like to donate for North Texas Giving Day. Uh This is now part of that. We help tens of thousands of kids in North Texas get toys for Christmas again. Santa's helper kicking off early 55th year.
