coach uh just your thoughts on the match overall thought we weren't a sharp today um but you know I going down we were obviously chasing the game uh you know at that point it's a matter of just putting one you know one ball in the back of the net take it a goal at a time but I thought our response in the second half was was much better and we came out we we competed better we played better in the second half um but you know can't get caught shooting oursel in the foot um you know and hats off to you know hats off to the other team for for uh certainly their their first two goals you know but we've got to we've got to iron out some of the details you know like um you know one of the goals came from really of second phase right and we didn't deal with that and um so we got to do a better job really of of that it did seem like the second half performance was was definitely a little bit more of what you would like what did you kind of talk about at halftime to bring that out well we're going to continue to to create set pieces all the time and we were all around the Box uh you know as far as second distance set pieces as far as corners and you know we disappointed really we talked about this a half time but just disappointing that um that we were not committed to putting the ball on the back of the net and that's what you have to do you know when when you're creating as many chances from that you know you got to you got to get something you got to get something but needing to be able to score off of sub P you know was was huge today I mean really you know shots were even Corners were were even you know I don't think necessarily the the score uh was a indicator of really the the game but you know again we got to continue to get better in each one of these games um start conference in in two weeks so all these teams that we're playing are testing us and then transferring from Texas State it had to be a little bit of a special game for Nia and then getting a goal yeah great great goal for her I mean she scored a great goal and um you know so I yeah you know she was certainly all smiles after the goal that was great and then two more non-conference games before you get into South and Conference play what are kind of the things you're trying to do here in the next week before you know it's always it's always about us you know um and you know obviously we're traveling on the road for two last games but you know it's it's like as I mentioned before we're going to continue getting sub pieces we're creating those opportunities we've got to be able to find you know the ball on the back of the net um and and you know just got to keep our head down and and working hard you know I don't it effort wasn't an issue today it wasn't an issue and sometimes you might find that on a Sunday because every you know you're tired and but you know our our team just needed to be tidier when it came to the technical part of today's match and and being able to um have more concession of of keeping the ball um you know we need to do a better job of holding the ball up top the first half that was killing us um you know but we'll we'll just continue to to tackle all these things and and hopefully come come away with a win coming up
