[Music] it's I think it's going to be a really hard conversation I tried so hard and got so far but in the end it doesn't even matter why goodbye good good on you thank you very much Paige thank you look it's a very brave decision that you've made and nothing is more important not the block not building nothing is more important than your mental health and it is a big decision and a brave one get that find it for me I've been nothing but accommodating for you Jesse and pig have had a rough probably first month of the book you know you never know what's going on behind closed doors I suppose and like it's none of your business real [Music] I don't know what it is about east side of this country friend's just so emotional man she's not like that all the time you know tiredness fatigue it change like turns you into someone different like I don't want to sit in a circle and come by and talk about my feelings when I don't have any sort of had one of those feelings where you knew something was up kind of wish they would have just come to us maybe and we could have I know supported them I don't know just being there for them in that shitty time you're like overwhelmed right now I'm not overwhelmed don't you dare why do you have to carry on like this you are being such narcissist right now I go 0 to 100 really really quick but I also go from 100 to zero very quick because I don't want to just be consistently angry I just don't even want to talk about it because unlike you I don't feel like embarrassing you all the time I just need a minute from you serious seriously oh no worries it's hard to say whether or not I guess whether they're coming together as a team or if they're drifting apart like we hear things but we don't talk about that just work on basic communication Jesse work on some basic respect I feel like you need to bring your brain back down to earth I did go check up on him before Sunday and yeah I I don't know there was just something about that page I could see it in her eyes I was like you're right she's just like yeah I'm fine but I don't know and it's a way of like selft talk that you go it's okay it's okay you know but it's also damaging um being like that cuz then you're just pretending everything's okay when it's probably really not okay and pretty bad and ugly inside [Music] I was annoyed because I just I just want you to listen to me about what I'm saying at times like mate you weren't saying anything that's the problem you're frustrated because you have someone that doesn't want to be here so get rid of them cuz I just want you to to want to be here you want me to want to be here that's no I told you what I'm going to do to try and help you to be here and I don't then walk out man why do you yell at me all the time no one's yelling here you're the only person yelling like you don't understand how much pressure you is being put on me I felt it in the whole first week Jesse I understand the pressure I didn't crack under it you do I'm I'm I'm not listening to a thing you said after you speak to me like that again you speak to me like like that as well I never fell with me like that I've heard Jesse and paage fighting a bit yep um which I said to her we hear it because they're obviously next door and it's healthy to argue to an extent but yeah sometimes it's getting extreme on the [Music] Block I don't want you to leave and I don't like I that's great I know you don't want me to leave but I want me to leave so we're at a fail mate walk out there like what are you doing here you haven't had a conversation with me you think I'm going to walk out and get on a plane without talking to you I'm literally nearly mentally checked out yes that's just giving up it's not giving up how many times do you want to have this conversation it takes a lot it's been um maybe Rocky or maybe not um I don't think they're having the experience that the rest of us are having which is like really um [Music] sad I don't want to be here do I need to spell it out again okay so what's next then I'm doing what is best for me not for you what about what's best for us there is no us I'm not prepared to be deal with it yourself I have no resilience left in me I've got nothing when chesse and Paige I think being in the environment that we're in on the Block probably not the right environment to try and um you know deal with any situation and get yourself uh in in a right State you got to put your hand up and say I need help and then to let others know around you that you going through that and it's okay not to be okay yeah exactly right y with Paige and Jesse the tried so hard but I think it's braver to realize that there's a problem and to be able to actually step away to you know get the help this where you're having a bit of a tough time I could hear a relationship that was sounding pretty bad you NE this can hear you I know as well you know P if you reached out to any of the counseling stuff that you've got because that's why we have that stuff in place so that you get you don't have to voice all of your feelings just Jing mhm we really need to get some other people in to talk to wanted to come chat with you guys about because we're not going to keep going what do you mean yeah when the decision was made like I even just felt relev why I think like I just haven't been my myself like at all I've like really meant to struggle yeah she's um I mean she's been like a probably a cry for help for the last maybe week but I've chosen to ignore it because of how much I want to stay here um but I think it's come to the realization that I need to put a guys Paige described it as she feels like she hasn't been herself which is really concerning you don't ever want to feel like you're not being yourself I just like it was just like a black hole in my head like really bad no good she just wants to feel normal SI again and in order for her to do that she has to leave and not be in this environment environment yeah oh you made me cry so we don't want but um I think PA realized that it's the right decision I was so angry I was so agitated like I was just I wasn't like myself at all because I'm I'm not those things basically said that they weren't coping yeah with the pressure of the situation and the block and I think it was more from from PA's point of view um and and Jesse wanted to stay but obviously he's going to do the the best thing for his for his fiance well we had a really we had a bit of a argument on Friday night it's um like we realized what we've been doing wrong and where we need to change but I think it's just gone too far where it's like forgot who we are as as individuals and um it's more me I'm being very like mentally struggling I haven't really P myself is there anything we can do we've like a lot of yeah a lot of considerations been given to this decision yeah we've tried everything me staying on uh Paige going home for a little bit but um yeah end of the day as much as I want like I want to stay here and want to be a part of this page comes first the fact that they were you know they had enough guts to come out and say it on you know National TV that they're dealing with some things and they need to take care of them um they don't want to go but they need to um yeah took a lot of guts you know when you're in situations like this and we are all going through the same experience together I feel like I should have been there morph for page and maybe saw the signs that you know she wasn't quite okay which makes me feel worse because what kind of friend was I if I couldn't see how she was actually [Music] feeling so angry all the time I was so like just wasn't like myself that's the hard thing you don't want to feel like you fail it you're the one that got yourself into this yeah exactly but like it's it's like next level it's not the end like outside of this is so much more important hey hey how you how are good good good on you thank you very much Paige thank you look it's a very brave decision that you've made and nothing is more important not the block not building nothing is more important than your mental health and it is a big decision and a brave one that you both made I think we probably all had to make that decision together yeah yes and you know I feel as though you know for people suffering with mental health issues this is an inspiration for them to maybe make a decision as well AB I hope so you know we feel as though you need to get to a place out of here that's you know where you can best take care of yourself 100% okay 100% yeah no thank you so much for Scotty for the opportunity and everything you've done it's it's been such an experience yes and you should be proud of what you've done so far you know we're all proudy look at the you know your friendship that you've got here everyone's unreal yeah good on you it hurts it's really tough to say goodbye you know you feel like you've known these people for a lifetime already push love you the best time so sad to see you go mate yeah no more Road F we'll have some later some road trips it was definitely sad to see them say goodbye but yeah we have a lot of respect for them be to do that all the best guys love you all see you later bye see you later thanks Scotty see you Frankie they'll have other opportunities in life and things that are more exciting the a eyes and you things that might not cause them as much you know stress and pressure and and things like and I hope they they come across that excitement um but yeah it's it was really sad [Music] yeah love you all say to [Music] little everything as everyone said from day one you're part of the block family and you'll be part of the block family for life so same goes for them that is for the best yeah we've got a block to build we got to move forward onward and upward just forget the world say you're the clest Heaven I'll ever love you all I don't want home now it's a somber morning on the Block as house one's Jesse and Paige have permanently left the competition and all the other couples are in shock I just want you know who I am I know it's a lot to take in and it's very shocking news today there has been some Behavior you know over the last couple of weeks that was concerning for us we had to do the best thing for Jesse and Paige yeah and um and we also had to base it on the best advice that we could get so I I called in our psychologist which we have on standby at all times and to come and have a chat with them over the weekend last night in fact and um I think Paige made that decision along with us it was her call and and I think she's quite relieved they fly back to Perth to be with their family and get the care that they need and I I I can tell you that you know they will be 100% supported by the nine Network to make sure that that happens we'll keep you informed and we'll let you know about how their progress is and and and keep you in touch in the L for the rest of the the series I know it's tough uh but we've got to move forward yep what happens to their house now Scotty we're not too sure yet but I'll let you know as soon as I know but um we've got a block to build onward and upward The Show Must Go On Show Must Go On well it doesn't have to but it's up to you guys but I think it [Music] should yeah well done for supporting them both so beautifully and they you know I felt as though they they left you know a little bit happier you know cuz of the support from you guys Rio see lat I'll see you T it's yeah it's only been 4 weeks 5 weeks but like you're with them every single day it's just [Music] devastating I just wish she would have said something to us like I feel bad like you know we didn't know spiral you can't come out of it you need to kind of just remove yourself yeah as hot like it's just I didn't expect it no neither yeah like Jesse said he struggled in week one and then it's sort of pag of Str struggled since then so I get where he's coming from I think you'd be the same if either of these guys didn't want to do it do it I know but it's hard did you know that was coming not really I didn't see that coming no Jesse Jesse one of the happiest bikes and one of the nicest bikes you'll ever me and and so is Paige to be fair so yeah to see him upset like that was it was pretty heartbreaking like you don't know what's going on inside you know across the road you know you don't know if someone's really struggling it's you know it's really important you know that we ask that question are you okay you know we just heard like a lot of arguing to be honest and I just especially the last few days yeah yeah see we don't know where it's coming from we can hear it but we can't can hear me laughing and then I can always hear them arguing like just recently like I think it was just getting a lot yeah I mean I get it we're always arguing too like it's just yeah high pressure what are you going to do to process this for the rest of the day God I'm not sure maybe just try and stay busy can't imagine how hard that was for them to do so and just how hard this experience is going to be without them as well we're all here for the same reasons we're all just genuine people just trying to get ah head a little think them looking after themselves is the right choice yeah 100% you know a lot of people do have mental health issues don't speak about it you're not okay like you need to get help and do something said that they need urgent care it's actually scary just hope that they'll be okay now it's just like to know that that's the that's where they're at that's where they were at and how they've been feeling that just like it just really upsets me and we're a big block family like we are so close we all love each other a lot and but we 100% support them in their decision it kind of just puts things into perspective as well like you just get so caught up in your own house and your I don't know I just wish like we could have done a bit more no guilty be bad I feel sorry for when they were arguing like I wish I kind of went over and just ask them [Music] 100% know they're doing the right thing it's just heartbreaking knowing that they're not going to be here with us to the end and you know they produce amazing rooms like they have finished in a high yeah it's a message to everyone like everyone in Australia everyone here like you just yeah you you never know what people are going through um yeah it's just be nice to people be nice to everyone yeah should have checked on him a bit more [Music] yeah coming up 3 m it's like it's it's big we've still got a block to build you'd have to demolish part of that wall just leave [Music] watching at last night's judging the team in House 2 came in third place on 27 points we learn from the judges depending on what their feedback is majority of the time like it's constructive and then we'll try and put that into the next room because today is a public holiday no building is allowed and each house can only plan for the week ahead using the domain in the no website that's main bedroom would you like to take a look hi granny granty wow this week I've suggested granty and all the other contestants used $116,000 from their combank budget to complete their main bedroom Walkin robes what is a main bedroom why is it why is it changed from Master cuz there is no Masters anymore no Maine is a bit more inclusive and it's just the yeah main area of the [Music] house found feature wall sitting area curved plaster in all the corners and in their hallway ceiling but their hero piece will be their olive green bed FR we want to do is an archway through the hallway Mondays always tough but we also have this massive shock of it being main bedroom in such a short week I do get in my own head a little bit where I'm like oh should I do this and should I do that the judge is going to like that what are they going to say about this and then sometimes I overthink so if we did do an arch right can you have a door like a sliding cavity door in the what have we got you've already got this built right do so you'd have to demolish part of that wall in order to get your slider into it yeah I think just leave that what would what would Shaina do that's what I need to think I have to pra you someone who cares less about what the judges think is Cari and house 4 who came in second place last night by only half a point and would have won if they'd used their bonus Point penguin oh I love coming second but I don't love the fact that they love my room let's talk about the elephant in the room or penguin as it were they've done it this is where they need to be I think average person on an average wage making an honest living and average as average well this week's room will be far from average as it will be the largest room they've built so far do you want that whole way and Cabinetry we've added these we've added these pull out mirrors I wonder if you buy a full length mirror that just stands against the wall a full length mirror is a must a full length mirror not just cuz we we're put going to put a desk in like a makeup desk cuz they like to look at the whole that's me at the gym too like I I don't want to just see you want see all sads carves week after their third win at Sunday night's judging they scored 28 points which all also saw them win a $10,000 Halle wardrobe upgrade wow wait where's our walking robe start our walking robe is here so from there we've got like one two it's like 3 m it's like it's big unlike the other houses Christian am Mimi's main bedroom is upstairs on their first floor our prize this week was a $10,000 um hle wardrobe upgrade this means that in a addition to their Cabinetry their walk-in Road will have some very nice additions including leather finishes on their bench seat on their coat hangers valued at $300 each and the inlaid inside their accessory drawers making the space feel very luxurious massive a massive walk-in wardrobe and we're making it open as well so it kind of opens up the whole space into the main bedroom we have so much pter Timber to get upstairs I know secret weapon this week is the P Timber florid the ceiling because of their R ceiling it means their pter Timber will need to stretch 4.2 M High making it the tallest feature wall on the Block I think the main bedroom can potentially sell the house because it can definitely sell the house it's really Grand looks really Lux and I think that's um the thing that's going to set us apart are you forgetting the other thing you won that is Lux and could set you part the winner of week four on the Block and taking home the Gucci dress and earrings Christian a [Music] mimic no very proud of ourselves we're very proud very rewarding feeling just want to get these earrings off cuz they're hurting my ears and I want to get asked Dan and he said you can't get Timber delivered to the block so we didn't we had it delivered here so all fit we only need obviously one strap okay oh you can call it cheeky but it's within the rules we're pretty excited we reckon despite losing a day that we can deliver three rooms this week so we can't wait to get in that's right three rooms not only will the boys be tackling their bedroom and walk-in Rob but they'll also be trying to finish off their INF a on sweet as well what the is this yeah we want this bathroom behind us the waterproof and bathroom no minut so if we can get this that we plan on using for for the week to come so I'm trying to make sure that they're in some kind of usable state by the time it comes to it which is not going to happen if the slab fills up with
