what's going on everyone Chris from pick dogs.com here with your free pick in the Tampa Bay Rays versus Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball match up going down Thursday September 5th 2024 just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscrib to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets the games that I love including my daily $19 best bet head on over to pick dogs.com and click the premium picks tab at the top of the page but let's get to this one between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Minnesota Twins this is the match up we were supposed to to see on Wednesday Taj Bradley getting the start for the Tampa Bay Rays and Pablo Lopez getting the nod for the Minnesota Twins and I'll tell you Taj Bradley has gone from a valuable piece of this Ray rotation a guy that had you know a 2.63 erra after his first start after the All-Star break but now his ER is at 4.35 the Tampa Bay Rays as a team have lost five of his last six starts and I'll tell you Taj Bradley has just been getting absolutely roasted in some of his recent outings me you look at his last you know six starts we've seen Bradley give up four runs five runs six runs six runs eight runs like I said just getting absolutely beat up a 9.85 erra over that six start stretch now 6.43 FIP suggesting that there's some bad luck for Bradley in those games but a 6.43 FIP is still high and it's just it still goes to straight that he is just not pitching overly well right now and the Tampa Bay Rays you look at the losses for the majority of those games they scored two runs or left in four of the six games even in that one and five record so Bradley's getting roughed up and to begin with the Tampa Bay Rays don't have an offense consistent enough or trustworthy enough to be able to say hey that even if Bradley struggles we can lift him up offensively the Rays just don't have that right now and you know me if you've been watching my videos here covering MLB you know my thoughts on the the Tampa Bay Rays out of the trade deadline I don't trust this offense I can't trust them to be able to put runs on the board to back up Taj Bradley on the other side I don't and I don't even think they will because PA Lopez well he's not one of my favorite options he has been out of his mind in his last three starts he has yet to allow a run in any of his last three outings spanning a combined 20 and twoth thirs innings at work he's gone into the uh the seventh inning and he's made it out of the seventh inning in each of his last two starts both those starts were at home but even then his last Road start six Innings of six hits shut out baseball the concern for Lopez is that the strikeouts have been down in each of those games but the Tampa Bay Ray is just not a great team right now against right-handed pitching you at their numbers in the last two weeks against righty sitting just 213 and at 29.4% strikeout rate is the highest in baseball against right-handed pitching so I'm going to go with the Minnesota Twins here I know the twins haven't necessarily been playing their best baseball as of late they have had some issues but I still think they can get the job done in this one especially with that huge Edge in starting pitching so I'm going to go with the Minnesota Twins and that's going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscribed to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets you you can find those at pick dogs premium while your pick dogs check out our betting tools they're 100% free they're the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you're making your Best Bets for the day's action thanks for watching see you guys soon
