[Music] Alex first um just that final drive can you just take us through obviously uh getting the fourth down getting to the one yard line and then the pass interference and just kind of the range of emotions there yeah I mean like you said we we brought the ball down the field pretty well we all had high emotions going into it you know thought we're going to score obviously that's the plan Every Time We Touch the ball but you know some things just don't go your way and the way you handle the adversity of you know maybe something getting called back think we have a touchdown having it called back you know that's it's a next play mentality okay that play it's not what we wanted but we got to move on we got to go score another touchdown when Daren had the fumble um and they return for the touch what was the message to him like on the sideline going back out there keep your head up things happen I mean adversity strikes daren's a great player we're going to stand behind him 247 365 like that's he's the best and you know after that happened we're just going to stand behind him and tell him good keep your head up and then to see the way that he responded obviously it didn't lead to a touchdown but you could see that like he immediately took that challenge I mean just what does that say about like him and his makeup he's a baller I mean there's no way else to put it like he's got that dog mentality he's next play play mentality you know things happen like I said adversity come adversity strikes he's going to say okay good next play he's got to come out and make another play which you did for Patrick you guys are able a really good team with a quarterback and the offense in the first half but how do they really break out in the third quarter heading into the entire second half I feel like it was on us we missed a lot of tackles on key plays on key third Downs I feel it was just miss tackles but being able to get that that stop I mean how much did you know you got SC your ability to bounce back and have the momentum getting him to go three and out when they had gotten the ball back um we just went out there and just executed the C my coach May so we just knew we had to make a stop and we made a stop how hard their quarterback you guys got to him but couldn't bring him down how how tough was he to to bring down oh he's a very good player he's very slippery you know we got to but we just couldn't get him down so this just like I said a lot of Miss tackles and Alex touchdown catch put you guys a hat early in the fourth quarter um in in double coverage you made a leading catch you know how good did that feel at the time and just how how how frustrating was it to not be able to hold on from from that point after that huge play I mean you know it feels great whenever you can help the team win and that's what you know I I hope I can do every time I step on the field just help help the team in any way I possibly can and I said you know it doesn't really matter at the end of the day that my touchdown didn't help win the game but you know put us in a position to help us win the outcome is obviously not what we wanted but you know at the time it doesn't matter anymore for Alex first but for both um just in the locker room what was the maybe the message moving forward after a game that was hard fought but a loss no the message is straightforward good I think coach Som h on that um you know now we got to take a step step back and just see you know who we got next week now playing Oklahoma um we just got to handle adversity like he said you know we obviously didn't have the outcome we wanted today but the good thing is in seven days we get to play another big opponent and we got to bring it down yeah kind of just reflect off what Alex said just keeping our head up know we have another game next week and knowing that we could have W this game but we kind of beat ourselves so we just know that we got to come next week get him stronger n [Music]
