hello michana greetings from College Station Texas Pete burn and Bennett wise joining you here we're on Saturday afternoon in that Stadium behind his Bennett Notre Dame will open up the season against 20th ranked Texas A&M at Kyle Field over 100,000 strong it's quiet now but we know it's going to be Rowdy come Saturday night that it will be they have the uh trademark 12thman the crowd behind everybody if you think of even previous matchups against Texas A&M five total this will be the sixth one really they've all met mainly in the cotton bow three of them in the cotton B the most notable to remember Tim Brown getting his towel snatched in the 1987 cotton bow it's kind of where the 12th man came from the uh the crowd behind it the extra effort and that's what we're going to see here on Saturday night at Kyle Field so the question is how do the Irish handle that atmosphere and in particular the noise as comes to signaling and plays and executing on the highest stage when the lights are bright and the cameras are rolling well that's something we spoke to streaming about this week here's how he thinks his team will Faire when the ball gets kicked come Saturday you're confident um that you have a team uh that can do that we've trained that uh We've trained um really being able to execute your assignment in Crazy um conditions with with crowd noise and and you know trying to do surprise situations in practice uh but at the end of the day they got to do it when it matters right and you can do it in practice um that builds confidence within yourself and with your coaching staff and um but you got to do it when it matters versus an opponent and we won't know that answer until we get to Saturday so Marcus Freeman thinks his boys are ready to head in there and execute but like the rest of us he's going to find out come 7:30 eastern time on Saturday night I'm Pete burn from wsbt22 news for more noted a stories like And subscribe to the wsbt22 YouTube page thanks for watching
