friendly I am uh for this weekend I don't know if that makes sense um you say Canada I get you I get you I know I appreciate that I don't know if they get you but I got you Canada this what one of the first opportunities to see them since the C America and they have all the momentum in the world in coner now yeah I really want to see what they do here against the USA I don't know if you guys have any thoughts on anything of what they're are going to do but I'm I want to watch every Canada game under jusy Marsh from now on because God is it intriguing God the story lines they've made are intriguing um Deo give me your thoughts on the game initi your initial thoughts on the game so assistant manager he's probably you know he knows he doesn't have like long with the team to He he'll still be there but he won't be he won't be the main guy anymore right um and you know I think I think that means the team is in a bit transition stage I think they may be a little just you know try to figure things out yeah which is why Canada this is their time to just really like you know make make us scared a little make them make them know like hey we ain't playing around we're real you we we we weren't the ones who got embarrassed at the at the at the tournament this past summer like we're the we're the ones that you wanna you want to watch out for and so I want to see I want to see um Jesse Marsh kind of throw his best team out there he probably play a few youngsters probably get them you know maybe play a few other rotation players see what they're made of but I want to see them play their M strong team and I want I want to see this just can team just kind of show you us what's up yeah you know they this can of team was one one penalty away from a from MC bronze so you know I I I think this is this is a team that they shouldn't be pushovers and if if anything if they don't even if this game isn't uh a close like I'm fine if they lose I get it it happens they can lose if they it's a friendly but if they lose by more than one goal I think it'll be disappointing I think it'll be very disappointing I like that I mean Canada in this game Canada should not be playing to USA strength right and I feel like that's that's what a lot of conquer c teams do against against the USA roughly so I think USA is the biggest Powerhouse in the in the region right now but you're right transition period right now the way they play is not set it's not Postino's way of playing there it's gonna be Mikey varus's Way if that and he might even say play how you know how to play you can't as Canada you cannot play to their weakness to their strength play how you want to play that's it if Canada goes out there and Jesse Marsh sets up the team and how he wants the team to be set up and they play how he wants them to play in the future I'd be happy with that without a doubt i' be happy with that even if they lose that's all that matters I mean this is friendlies are to build the team you don't need to win this game but if you get the team playing how you want them to play Jesse that's a win in my books that's perfect and even then it'll show that one they're not scared right I think a lot of teams are scared of teams like the USA in the region and as a result play you know sit everybody back and Counterattack if they can do that I don't want Canada to do that I think it'll really show that Canada is here to play cuz they are if anything that c America has show that they're in the race for the best team in the region on paper they're not on paper I don't know if they ever will be but performances matter more than on paper right so if if you show the region that you are here to play you're here to stay as one of the top teams fantastic fantastic granted though lot to live up to they had a marvelous C America run I don't want it to be a fluke I don't think as a fluke but it was his first opportunity as Canada manager and they did really really good I don't want that to be the height of Jesse Marsh's reign as Canon manager I don't think it will be I don't think it will be but the these are the type of games now where you kind of show that right games that don't mean anything but you still take charge of it fantastic games that don't mean much but you still take take it seriously perfect fantastic that's all I that's all I need to see per uh personally I do hope he does play some younger players I do hope that uh Nico Niko seur gets the gets I'm know about the start but opportunity just came from Croatia like I mentioned already um you know I I just want them to maintain that form I want them to I want I want progress to be shown right and that's hard because they started from the top with that c ameran performance started at the very top and it's hard to show progress from that I don't think many people are expecting progress from that but as long as it shows that you know they're a serious club or sorry they're a serious team then I'll be happy with that I I would be very happy with that as for the USA side of things though because we're really just focus in Canada USA side of things I do think USA needs do wi in this game um granted you know you could easy if if the USA loses I think the the media narrative after will be well intern manager not a full strength Squad we are missing like won mckenny Cameron cers Timothy waya I'm that's not my excuse but I'm I'm saying that people will I think you can very easily turn the ne turn the narrative to you know it doesn't matter the whole lot I I think USA needs to win this game and I I just on the basis that I don't think you can give Canada any bit of ground in coner C you shouldn't you shouldn't same goes for like you know if they were when they play Mexico in October it's USA needs to maintain that number one spot and the only way you're going to do that is by doing it yourself um you can only rely on on Mexico you know losing in cob America so so much but now Canada had a great C America they you kind of have to put them at Bay like almost put put them in their place a little bit you have to be winning by plus two goals here um or and you have to at least look like you want to you know like this game should means something because Canada now means a lot to teams and managers and fans and whatnot Canada means a lot because they are a threat now and not saying they were never a threat but more now more than ever in history really they're a threat um so the USA has to kind of take that uh and and and take charge of that I do want a lot of youngsters like said for USA 2o but I don't know how they're going to play I don't know how how he's going to set it up I don't know what kind of sub he's going to make interesting to see I also just wish patino was here because it'll make it a lot more a lot more interesting a lot more narrative there um that's okay because the USA Mexico one is going to have a crap ton of narrative we're gonna milk the crap out of that game and that window and I can't wait um okay initial Match Predictions predict score predictions then and who might score or whatnot andr I'll let you go first andr I'm is not going to want to just sit back and play I mean yeah you're gonna there's going to be moments of course but you know you don't want to just you know uh have let the US dick tick the entire game just because they're the United States you know you're you're the top dog in the moment at the moment in Co cup so you kind of want to make a statement so uh yeah I'm going to go 2-n I think that's Canada very well still could win I think that's what's going to happen though but I say it's a positive because I think Canada needs to chase the win here for sure and if they do that and they still both teams are defensively solid Canada is very solid defensively hopefully more so in the co America though because they did have some issues with their center backs um but I I think I would like to
