we're about to pick up Beyonce's new sir Davis whiskey I'm super excited it is an American whiskey so that is why we are wearing our festive hat today birthday B happy birthday B and happy birthday B so they have a limit for one person per bottle so we just went back in with our disguises and what have you and whatnot okay and then we were able to get the whole box all right so we're going to start with a shot we're going to pop the bottle cuz it's it's not an unboxing if you don't really do this part right all righty I want to give a shout out to uh nus okay so for it's it's happy birthday Beyonce Forever okay but also shout out to Nathan green okay AKA nearest Nathan green was the enslaved African-American who actually taught somebody you may know how to make whiskey uh this guy by the name of Jack Daniels or whatever fortunately he never got the credit until way later um there's actually another blackowned whiskey out called Uncle nerys but today we are talking about Sir Davis by the queen can we just can we just talk about the bottle for a second can we talk talk about the bottle okay so you know you got the horse okay yea and um and then it looks like a cologne I just want to dip it all over my body so we're going to make a cocktail we're going to make one of the recommended cocktails but before we get into that we going to talk about the flavor profile so according to the website it's the complexity of Rye married with the Elegance of a mty barley all right it's finished to perfection in Pedro jimenez's Sherry Cass okay and so it's going to be a Harmony of spice and Sublime hints of fruit according to the website like nothing that we've ever tasted before so we're going to get into that 44% alcohol 88 proof baby okay let's do it not bad just strong just strong I'm going sip guys it's early in the morning it's in the morning I'm going sip cheers here's time for the Moment of Truth [Music] okay do yourself a favor y'all don't do a shot of this first start off with a little sip baby start off with a little sip you can taste the orange flavorit the back yeah no it's definitely a ride you know how like I don't know if maybe you were a connoisseur or maybe you're not but there's a whole like there's a whole exciting um like like a ride that you're going on like as it hits the top of your tongue to the back of your tongue stuff like that Seville oranges little toffee and hints of Honey on the Finish cinnamon and clove just a lot of a lot going on here okay now this is American whiskey but according to the blogs and stuff Beyonce likes a Japanese whiskey so this is probably a Japanese influenced American whiskey be you did this and you know for everybody out here talking about like she only come out and talk to us when she want our money this is not the same price as um a tour ticket so we not even going to do that okay if you want to get you some get you some okay it's thuggy though right like wouldn't you expect like a a champagne or something from Beyonce no a whole whiskey I think we getting more country music I'm going need another hat obviously it's here in California you can also get it down in Georgia of course Texas and a few other places um if you are in the Philly area then you got to just head over to uh Maryland to get it or up to New York and it'll be there or whatever it retails for what like $89 not bad at all now we're going to try it with a cocktail on the next video okay
