as we pull up the schedule in each of my selections we will start with that week one season opener which you could argue guys is sort of flying under the radar here right when you talk about Premier week one matchups and you know I think because of the fall off of Clemson a couple of years ago this would have been looked at as the game of week one now you're seeing Georgia about a two touchdown favorite I think most are expecting the dogs to roll in this one I think this game could be a little bit closer than maybe some people are expecting could Clemson cover the spread sure I don't see a world though where Clemson wins this football game I think Georgia obviously gonna want to set the tone there's not a better motivator in college football than Kirby Smart you know he's going to have his football team ready to play I'm not a believer in Kade Club Nick from the standpoint of going out and beating a team like Georgia and so I think Georgia will wear down Clemson don't be surprised though we get to halftime and this is a little bit of a closer game than people are expecting I do think the dogs will wear down the Tigers but I think Georgia will start one and0 guys Mercedes Benz Stadium again in a game that's sort of flying under the radar because of the fall off of Clemson but I think Georgia really going to flex their muscles they will start off the season one and0 I think the dogs obviously return home they take care of business against Tennessee Tech then comes that firstc matchup first road trip of the season first true Road game I should say at Kentucky Kroger field night game listen people will scoff at me that I mentioned Kroger field as being a tough environment but at night that's a difficult place to play I I do think Georgia is going to get the win but I tell you guys we've seen it in years p pass and I like this Kentucky roster I'm higher on Kentucky than some others I do think the dogs get the win but this is going to be if you love physical football guys it's going to be a car crash every single play and it's gonna get Georgia ready for what they've got following in a couple weeks but I do think the dogs go into Kentucky Kroger feeli to be crazy I could see some really interesting moments in this one I do think Georgia though they will have too much for Kentucky again I'm higher on Kentucky than most so I think in regards to bodies in the interior bodies in the line of scrimmage kuy's actually got some dudes who can wreak havoc on that Georgia offense but I do think Georgia finds a way to win this one as well then the dogs here's a key point in the season right because you see the schedule obviously the road trip to Tuscaloosa upcoming but Georgia getting a key by week on Saturday September the 21st you get the by week before the game at Alabama night game at Bryant Denny Stadium National TV audience you guys know the environment this is going to be one of the best environments in college football this season and the question we've been asking all preseason all offseason is this was it a Nick Sabin problem or is it an Alabama problem and this game's going to go a long way in determining just what that is guys with everything on the line here and Georgia obviously getting left out of the playoff last year Alabama beating the dogs in the SEC Championship I look at this game and you know Georgia I think right now is about a touchdown favorite on the road which really says a lot about the uncertainty of Alabama I still think Bama's one of the most talented rosters in college football that being said I just don't see a world where Georgia loses his football game now this is a game guys I'll tell you this this is a game if the upset is pulled If Alabama wins everything we thought about this season gets blown up and we we really truly are in for a wild wacky year I don't see it happening guys I do think it was more of a Nick Sabin problem than a Bama problem not to say the Bama program isn't great right but Georgia's a great program too and you talk about being focused being locked in I I think we're going to see Georgia play with a certain level of hair on fire that we just won't see in any other game this season I I I just this game of all the big games on this schedule this is the one you know Georgia wants to have this is the one Georgia needs to have no more Nick Sabin you got to take advantage I think caylin deor is a great coach he ain't the goat and I know the games at Bryant Denny I'm not saying it's going to be a blowout or anything but I'm picking Georgia in this ball game I feel confident going Georgia of any game on this schedule this is the one I Circle and say I I think Georgia is going to show up play their best you know there's going to be physicality but I do think Bama early on in the kayin abort tenure gonna be figuring some things out also guys again you're getting Georgia with two weeks to prepare yeah give me the dogs I I think the dogs win this game start out four and0 huge win against Alabama in enemy territory in Tuscaloosa then you got Auburn the thing that makes this interesting is the fact that Georgia scheduled it for homecoming you know Auburn's going to come in fired up motivated excited I do think the dogs will take care of their business between the hedges I I can't wait to see the the energy and the intensity in this one that's what I'm most excited about uh then you've got the game the following week against Mississippi State at home not a lot to say about this one guys I think Georgia takes care of the business by the way side note one of the biggest upsets as you look at this schedule how many afternoon and night games Georg is getting this year it felt like in years past all they got were noon kickoffs finally finally George's getting some night games uh then guys the following week middle of October Saturday October the 19th at Texas this is the one I think everyone in the has got circled on their calendar the Texas Longhorns you know obviously one of the favorites in the League this year is this going to be a transition year is Texas ready for the grind of the SEC and listen here's the thing Georgia schedule it is a gauntlet there there's no question I don't think anyone in the SEC is going undefeated this year guys like even Georgia and I've got all the respect in the world for the dog and if there's anybody who can go undefeated it probably is Georgia but the schedules are so difficult guys the SEC is so good and I am a believer in Texas that Texas is going to have a successful year one I I think Texas is for real I like what they've got coming back I think they've been building for years now Steve sarkeesian in the trenches to not just compete but to win a game like this if the game were in Athens guys I'd be going Georgia but I think going on the road gonna be a hostile environment that's gonna be a really fun battle to watch Quinn ERS against Carson Beck Georgia Texas gonna be a great helmet game right I do think this is where Georgia stubs their toe this season though falls to the Texas Longhorns and if you've been paying attention you know that I think Georgia gets a rematch in the SEC title with Texas gets their revenge and wins the SEC Championship but I do think regular season I think Texas I mentioned Georgia going abama how that's GNA be the game they probably put it together and play their best game I think for Texas that's this game I think for Texas you're GNA see them put it together play their best football and I do think Texas in what should be an absolute classic will Edge out the Georgia Bulldogs in Austin to give them their first loss of the year but as you can see guys that's the only blemish I have for the dogs I think in the cocktail party they beat Florida the following week bounce back in a big way by the way you get the by we after Texas so after a really physical game you get two weeks to prepare for Florida I think you get them you take care of their business I think Florida's goingon to be a better team this year but they're not ready to beat Georgia then you go to Old Miss guys Old Miss I'm a Believer in Old Miss I think Old Miss is going to be a college football playoff team this year they're going to be right there at the top of the SEC even with the portal editions what did Georgia beat him by last year like 38 does that make up a 38 or 35 or whatever 30 point difference it was does that make up that difference I think the game will be closer in Oxford especially I think the game will be closer I don't think it's for Old Miss to beat Georgia right now I I I just I just don't see it and Kudos Elaine kein they did what they needed to do by going out into the portal he he said after the Georgia game last year hey we're not big enough we're not physical enough we're not long enough look at the guys Georgia has we got to go out and get some ball players like that I think they went and got some ball players like that I still don't think they have enough right now though so I got Georgia winning that game at Old Miss um I think that one could kind of turn to an offensive shootout if you will it'll be closer than last year I I don't think Old Miss is quite there yet though uh then you got Tennessee coming to town guys Tennessee is going to be very good but again until I see Tennessee actually beat Georg and keep a game competitive between the hedges I I just cannot pick the balls to pull this upset so give me Georgia in that one UMass pretty self-explanatory Georgia get a big win and then Georgia Tech make clean oldfashioned hate great again because it's not a rivalry anymore right let's just call it for what it is so uh Georgia wins that one wins the season finale and I got the dogs finishing 11- one seven- one in conference play and again in case you missed it my predicted order a finish I've got Texas finishing one Georgia finishing two because of that tiebreaker Georgia Texas and the SEC title and I've got the dogs getting their Revenge beating the Longhorns in the SEC Championship Game guys I I don't you know I don't know that want to say that people are sleeping on Georgia but it's interesting how we're almost taking for granted how good Georgia really is there's a lot of people out there saying Georgia's gonna lose two games I I just don't see it guys I I I don't see it this roster is as loaded as ever I know you gotta replace makoni I know you gotta replace Brock Bowers I I know the you know the defensive front maybe there's some questions but come on man make no mistake Georg is one of the best rosters if not the best roster in college football right there with Ohio State um and I think they're going to show that I really do Kirby Smart is the best coach in college football for my money's worth he's the he's the master motivator he's the best motivator in college football whether it's pregame it's halftime it's postgame whatever it might be you put all that together I think Georgia is gonna be fantastic yet again 11- one seven- one in conference and I do think Georgia will win the SEC Championship so guys when you
