hi it's Sally Shakti your star Priestess and Visionary writing guide and welcome to tarot and astrology for Visionary writers for this Virgo New Moon September 2024 and if you are in the northern hemisphere you may be experiencing the arrival of this autumnal weather this autal feeling this back to school Vibe back to work energy for me it feels good it feels focusing as much as I love the summer and I really do I feel like maybe I've actually spent all summer waiting for this Autumn energy to return we get this clarifying Virgo season brings us this clarifying energy of discernment of boundaries it's enabling us to call back our energy into our own energy field into our into our bodies excuse me it's enabling us to bring our energy back into our own energy field into our own bodies into our own Focus what do we want to do with our energy now that we are beginning to we're just on the CP of the Turning of the seasons as we begin to become more interior in our focus more internal we're not in the deepest of our um internal energies right now that happens around the uh winter solstice but we're on the CP of our energies beginning to turn inwards beginning to withdraw from the external Focus that we've had in the world where especially here in the northern hemisphere in the summer our energy goes out out we want to be outside we want to be with people we want to be connecting we've had that Leo season full of playful creativity self-expression there's a lot in the summer that invites us to um expand our energy fields and connect our energies with other people and other places as we are here now on the cusp of this Virgo New Moon I feel the energy beginning to return and withdraw inwards so that we can begin that journey of our interior phase of the cycle and of course when we have the Autumn Equinox um in uh when the sun enters Libra in uh later this month on the 21st of September we'll really begin to notice that internalizing of our energy field that really bringing back that withdrawing what we get with Virgo season like a queen of Swords type energy we get this Clarity around what are my boundaries what is mine what is not and bring it really having that focused intention to withdraw our energy back to ourselves back into our own bodies back into our own energy field back into our own timeline so that we can focus and prioritize on what are our priorities now what do we want to complete before for the ending of this cycle and the closure of this year what do we and and Virgo really invites us to create those rituals those rhythms and the daily routines that will support us that will be the foundation for what we are creating and what we are completing in this phase of the cycle Autumn is bringing us into a complete phase the cycle so that in the winter we can't let go and begin the new cycle again in the spring so as we are focalizing our energy and our energy is withdrawing back to ourselves we can be really intentional about where do I want to direct my creative life force in this Autumn season so that I can complete on the projects that are important to me as we go into the last um quarter of this particular seasonal cycle we've got some really supportive energies helping us to make those commitments to make those to set out the foundation through our daily actions our rhythms and routines and rituals to bring into Focus our new priorities for this season Autumn you know what I'm thinking about my own menstrual cycle as well as the The Wider seasonal cycle Autumn for me is that invitation to get things done to really get my head down and focus so that I can prioritize what needs to be complete and like I say so that then then it can be let go at the winter season so what can we reallying bring our energies into Focus to complete something that we have been wanting to um wanting to get done that's been part of our vision for this year the energies are now ready to come back to ourselves so that we can focus and direct them into our clear intentions for the season ahead Virgo being ruled by Mercury we have a really strong and positive influence from Mercury at this Virgo New Moon Mercury newly turned Direct in the sign of Leo so we've got at the moment this newly energized mercury in Leo really helping us to set creative intentions for our own um sacred and Sovereign self-expression now this is really good for Visionary writers and creatives especially if you are working with writing because Mercury is really going to be in support of those clear intentions that we have for bringing our writing forward in this second half of the Year especially an energized mercury in Leo will be encouraging us to set goals routines intentions daily actions that will support us in our creative self-expression Leo wants us to self-express and it wants us to stand in our power and our sovereignty and that's something that is that connects those energies of both Leo and Virgo really inviting us back into our core Our Truth our integrity our values what is it what does it mean for us what does it look like what does it feel like for us to stand in our sovereignty as we move through this season as we have as we rechannel our energy into our own Center and direct it and guide it towards our own um purposeful and Powerful visions and intentions so we might be setting ourselves goals and targets and creating new daily rhythms and routines maybe that's around using your writing working with your writing to show up and be seen more experiencing greater visibility growing your platform growing your online presence Perhaps Perhaps it is about perhaps you'll set yourself targets for how many times you want to post um some written content on social media or on a blog or your website or substack or elsewhere medium for this season how do you how can you use your words your writing your Visionary creative practice to be seen and to show up in your sovereignty and your sacred self-expression to be really fully present in your visibility and as we take as we step into greater visibility we also take greater responsibility and so there can be that um resistance there from the part of us that wants to keep us smaller and safer not wanting to step into that greater responsibility but how can we really call our energy back into our own Center back into our own energy field rooting into the Earth Virgo is an earth sign rooting into the Earth drawing up support from guia Mother Earth Below to really stand in our rooted and anchored sovereignty our Center and express our truth our values our integrity from that place really helping us to show up with greater visibility greater responsibility as we grow our platform our presence and our energy field our capacity to hold more light wealth Community Connection responsibility all of these things are part of having that Earth as a foundation and Virgo is a really supportive energy to call on to to call up the Earth to hold us in our sovereignty as we expand our capacity to be more and shine more brightly in the world now we may have with this exuberant mercury in Leo we may also feel that we want to change all of the routine and set all of the goals and achieve all of the results and that can be really this this exuberance of our mercury in Leo who is wanting to fully self-express fully self-actualize but we have some energies here which will really bring us back down to earth so that we can stay in that supportive nurturing clear boundaried discipline and Discerning energy of Virgo Virgo says we can't achieve all the goals right now so we can choose which goals we're going to focus on and which goals we're going to move towards so that we can really fully apply our energies that are available to us and stand in our sovereignty rather than that scattered um externalizing energy that we've that we've been in through the summer perhaps because we have Uranus recently gone retrograde we have Pluto now re-entering Capricorn both of those energies both of those energies are continuing to tear up the foundations that we have been building on that collectively patriarchy has been built on colonialism has been built on racism misogyny um all the inequalities have been built on Uranus retrograde in Taurus and Pluto re entering Capricorn so we've got these three really strong Earth energies going on at the moment Pluto and Taurus uh sorry Uranus in Taurus Pluto in Capricorn and Virgo new moon with the sun and the moon both in Virgo so we've got this this strong uh kind of Trine of Earth energies both supporting us to create those New Foundations with the Virgo new moon but also continuing this long pattern and trajectory of undoing and destabilizing the foundations that we had collectively and personally previously been building on those foundations for me are the narratives that we encode embody and perpetuate through our beliefs and actions we're all part of that story we're all undoing and decolonizing the narratives that we have been holding that have been that we've been conditioned to and part of reclaiming our sovereignty this Leo and Virgo energy is bringing our energies back to our Center noticing especially in our journaling where our narratives have been contributing to stories of lack negativity scarcity oppression repression suppression inequality in ourselves and others in The Wider picture those stories are continuing to be undone so we're continuing to have shifting foundations Virgo New Moon is really wanting to support us to come back and anchor into our Center Our Roots down into the earth that is really the only stable place that we can create any foundations from as around us and within us the old foundations Are Falling Away destabilizing crumbling dissolving we'll have mercury coming into a square with Uranus at the weekend so again we've got that tension between New Foundations and old foundations Mercury Direct in Leo come is going to be moving into Virgo and catching up with this um Virgo new moon in the next few days Mercury wants to support us to create the New Foundations but Uranus and Pluto are still working on undoing the old foundations so we've got that tension between the new and the old and we really just want to keep coming back to that Virgo Sovereign Center bringing our energies back to ourselves rooting into the Earth drawing up energy from the Earth to support us in our New Foundations so that we can step forward in our sovereignty our integrity our values and our commitment to the greater path through passion power and purpose that we are here to embody as Visionary writers and creatives at this time we have Mars entering cancer on uh Wednesday Mars is going to spend a long time in cancer right through to 2025 so taking action taking big action that that mercury and Leo kind of big expansive exuberant action might be more tricky for us it might be about building the New Foundations through our small daily commitments rituals rhythms routines and actions what are the small practical steps that we can keep taking to move ourselves forward one little bit every day you know my coach talks about improving 1% each day and that that in fact has a compounding effect and and the the compounding effect of that over a year is enormous creating the New Foundations I feel is going to be a bit like that over these next few months and years we'll take big leaps occasionally then we'll see the undoing and the destructuring and the restructuring and we'll be invited always to keep coming back to our Center our values our sovereignty our integrity our heart our love compassion for ourselves and others and the world as we take the small steps the daily rituals and rhythms and routines that's what Virgo is all about what do we do on a daily basis what is our daily practice to create step by step the new foundations that we are co-creating through our thoughts Deeds beliefs words and actions so those really are the energies that I feel to um explore today let's take a look now at our Tarot deck and see I'm really inviting in a very supportive energy to to give us a firm foundation through this Virgo New Moon well we got the page of Swords but it's reversed so page of Swords is actually a great card for anchoring our visions and intentions ideas Inspirations and intuitions into the world page of Swords helps us to literally get our words down onto the page and and create New Foundations through physical actions that bring our that bring our visions of possibility into being into manifestation in the material world but this page of Swords is reversed so it's just that reminder that as we are setting our new goals and Foundations and it's really important to do that it's important to do that and not to to Simply give up and say oh well the energyy is not right as we are setting those daily goals and Foundations just to remember that there are still some chall challenging energies around that will be continuing to bring to the surface to illuminate for us where our narratives have been part of the old structures and that is what needs to be released and let go this is a continual um process that we are in so we don't just do it once and it's done continually in this process it feels right now like it's getting a little bit easier but there is still this recognition that as we set those New Foundations and we move forward in our on our new time timeline we're still going to be working with those challenging energies that bring to the surface what's ready to be seen and illuminated where we have been holding on to narratives that have been part of the old structure part of the old Foundation because th those are what needs to be cleared away so we're going to continue to see that in ourselves and in The Wider world and the invitation is to keep coming back to our Center
