hey guys a little update for you Shane and I are now on Maverick we are getting things ready here on the boat the storm should hit tomorrow today is Tuesday September the 10th tomorrow September 11th which also happens to be Shane's birthday so he and I will be writing out Francine on his birthday on Maverick so should make for some interesting footage and we will try to update you as much as we can today we are preparing the boat we're going to take the biny and the Dodger down we're going to get everything off of the deck that can fly away uh we're going to secure everything as much as possible and uh get the lines tied correctly and uh get ready tomorrow is the big day this is our first time uh riding out a storm a hurricane actually uh on Maverick on any boat we did go through a pretty nasty SP in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico on our way up from Mexico but uh this is going to be a little bit different because we are on a dock here in Madisonville Louisiana these are some pretty great floating docks with really high pylons we're feeling pretty confident about it about where we are and uh I will walk around later and give you a lay of the land let you see uh what things look like here but as of right now we're in prep mode so hoping that storm continues to jog a little East actually uh if we can end up on the western side the good side uh that would be that would be better we don't want to be on the Eastern side and um some of the models actually show the eye going right over us so we'll see uh you know it is what it is and that's one of the risks when you bring your boat to the to the Gulf Coast we knew that and and um I'm really thankful that this is not a bigger storm but I think it's going to be a wild ride regardless so stay tuned
